Just curious if anyone has been able to get hands on one of the Stag Pursuit actions that Aero Precision has on sale for $599. I realize it’s not a $2k action but thinking about doing a budget friendly build with it an a proof steel barrel for some long range plinking with the option of swapping barrels and calibers. Appreciate the feedback! Also with their discount it’s $555 to my ffl which seems stupid cheap.

Specifically - how chronographs are calibrated, issues when using etc, accuracy.... (as far as I know - i make the only calibrated chronograph on the retail market, that's traceable to standards).

I want to ensure I dont do a sneaky sales pitch & want to make sure i'm treading the line correctly with the forum rules.
Am I OK to post technical information & insights about my area of expertise - Chronographs & Calibration?
I use my brand name for transparency, would it be preferable to do it under another name so i'm not posting my brand?

Hello everybody finally joining the site after lurking and gathering information from here for a couple years now. Look forward to meeting you all. I’m looking for a retention holster with just enough drop to clear the belt on a backpack. This is for hunting. I don’t really want to go full drop leg with a strap. Pistol is a Glock 17, it will have a red dot.

So far the only thing I’ve found is the G-code XSR holster with the GCA30 RTI Mount. Does anyone have experience with this combination?

I’m also open to other suggestions.
