I am from the Panhandle region of Texas and have recently gotten into longer distance shooting. I've been very into shooting for several years now but only recently have I started trying to make shots beyond 300 yards or so. Until now, it has mostly been plinking at the range or night shoots under night vision with friends.

With my new job, I now have access to a range that goes all the way out to 1600 yards so I can finally get into some real long distance shooting! A couple of my coworkers are also very into PRS style shooting and I have the itch now.

For now I'm making do with my 5.56 AR build as I continue to learn and refine my skills. I plan on purchasing my first true long range setup soon, though! I'm really just deciding on an optic at this point - 5-25 Mk5 HD, 4-32 NX8, or go all out and get the 7-35 ATACR. I've been very, very happy with my 1-8 NX8 so I'm currently leaning toward the 4-32 NX8 most but might spring for a Mk5 if I find a solid deal.

I borescoped it and there is no wear to the throat. I would guess there were VERY few rounds fired out of this.

The barrel is slightly ugly under the gas block from someone not loosening one of the screws before removal. Doesn't affect function and it's covered by the gas block so you won't see it.

I have a Mcmillan HTG that I need opened up for M5 bottom metal. Prices seem to vary widely. LRI 200.00. Unknownmunitons 125.00. Gap 105.00. Badger 75.00. Riversbend gun company 75.00. Trust badger but they specifically say their inlet is only for badger m5. I thought they were pretty much the same. Not sure I'm going to use Badger so that kind of concerns me. Was thinking Hawkins, maybe. Anybody got any recommendations or experience with the above or others. Want the work done well but don't want to waste money either.

This has literally been used one time.
I opened it sometime in January and loaded 50 roads. I ended up getting my Hornady dispenser back from warranty replacement way faster than expected. No issues with the dispenser. Works properly. But I did misplace the accessory bag with the calibration weight,j hook(easily made from close hanger),and the brush.
Everything else is there to get started. A calibration weight can easily be bought off amazon- thus I've priced it accordingly.

Looking for the name of the fiber optics that connect on to the Send It and make it visible by the eye piece of the scope. I don’t know what it’s called, please educate.

Just as title says I have a vortex viper hd 20-60x85 spotting scope that I used once then it has sit in the safe since the box is taped together as my wife tried to throw the box away twice thankfully I saved it.
