I just put this rifle together and have decided to go with a long action caliber. I developed a great load with this rifle, see pictures below

Mega matched upper and monolithic upper, noveske 20” match barrel, match trigger, can’t remember the brand, prs stock, gun will shoot sub moa with hornady match ammo. Has about 200 rounds down the barrel to the best of my recollection. Gun was put together right and I don’t like junk. $1100, no optic, mount, or flashider. Former service member, dad, husband, I’d like to think I’m a decent marksmen as my friends and I started pushing our skills in shooting games we made up for friendly competition, started shooting pistols at 10 yards or so and gradually moving back until someone missed, then they’re eliminated and everyone kept going… wasn’t long we were making 90-100 yard shots…. Of course everyone has their AR’s, but we got into more long range stuff the last year or two pushing .22LR out to 200 yards popping soda cans…

Hey all, was looking for reviews on the tract toric 1-8 lpvo and haven’t found much. I have their 4.5-30x56 and love it. I am wondering what anyone who has the 1-8 thinks of the glass clarity and overall build quality (and whether they would have spent a few hundred more for a razor 1-6.) I do not need daylight bright illumination which so far is the only negative I have seen. This lpvo would go on my BCM 5.56 and I would like to stretch out to 450-500 or so.

So I have one of those novelty sweatshirts right here that says "alcohol tobacco and firearms should be a convenient store not government agency". So it got me thinking about how the main convenience store in my hometown when I was a kid did in fact sell guns and ammo. Granted it was literally called a general store and also included a very small section for movie rentals. Wasn't anything special, but rather the same type of cheap guns you would see at Wal-Mart back then.
