I am curious if MPA will ever make a Matrix Pro 2 for the Tikka action? I know they have the Matrix Pro 1 series for the Tikka, however, I cannot find them for sale on your Euro optics nor a lot of places. I see that they still have the regular matrix chassis for sale.

Should I just wait or search for a pro 1? I am in immediate rush or even trying to compete. I am a newbie that is just trying to have a nice chassis to learn on.

My buddy and I are signed up to run the lite division at TTG Sniper Challenge in October. I know it’ll be here before I even realize it. Anyone have any tips for this event? He’s running his 700 AAC SD 308 and I’ll be running my 20” AR10 308 or my 16” recce (planning the AR10, but Murphy’s Law is always in effect). The recce has some good glass (PLXC) and can print moa or less with 77gr stuff. Currently planning the Federal GMM 175smk for the 308 as it’s done the best groups so far out to 200 yards, but I haven’t had the chance to stretch it out past that yet since I finished putting it together last year. I also still need a bipod and a bag for it.

Rifle originally had 12 inch original style handguard and I replaced with newer style longer MK III.

I also installed full length arca rail

Barrel was not threaded when I purchased, but had a 19.5 inch custom target crown supposedly done by factory, which i did confirm with a guy at JP on phone. I removed barrel and installed a 6mm Creedmoor JP barrel which I shot about 400 rounds through. I had the 308 barrel threaded by D Wilson, removed 6mm creedmoor, re-installed the original (now threaded) barrel, took to range and function checked rifle, by shooting 5 rounds through it.

The set screw on the bottom of the gas block was stripped and drilled out. It does not affect the function of rifle as the 8 clamp screws are really what holds the gas block in place, but the rifle is priced a accordingly in case you want to replace it.

I’ve got a used Burris Fullfield IV 6-24x50 up for sale. It’s a SFP scope with the SCR MOA reticle and matching mil turrets. Side parallax focuses down to 10 yards. A few handling marks on the bell and parallax knob I tried to highlight in pics but overall in great shape and glass is clean. I got it on a rifle I recently picked up so no box. Will throw in a set of rings with it.

I’m confused…. This rifle has a 5 position gas block… 2 are for unsuppressed and 2 are for suppressed….1 is off. POF says the smaller gas port (45*) is for adverse conditions/weaker ammo, to me the larger gas port (12 o’clock) would be used for more adverse conditions….. can someone explain this to me?

Hey guys, looking to sell this Model Seven action and bottom metal mag box follower and spring to someone. I had been planning on building a rifle on it. LRI blueprinted the action pinned the lug and blew the rear guard screw out to 1/4-28 for me. They also trued the bolt opened the bolt face to .473 and installed the M16 extractor. Asking $1000obo for everything in the pictures… besides the rug shipped to your FFL. My loss is your gain. Pretty motivated to sell so make an offer.

For 1300 I’ll throw in the wood stock I got for it.
