I am liquidating part of my collection and some of my nicest rifles to fund some work on our house…. First I’ll take it, get’s it. First up- the Rhodie FAL- This rifle had a lot of time, effort, and money put into it. Nearly ALL Rhodie parts.

Original poop on the handguards, Bolt carrier, grip, lower, stock, mag, charging handle, and dust cover- I weathered and painted the the upper receiver (DSA SA marked) to try and match the rest of the rifle- Zim paint on the lower and charging handle too…. The barrel is Belgian and has markings from grenade sight use on the gas block- and is even within 400 serial numbers of the belgian lower! RA markings on bolt, carrier (Which are both SA- Pretoria), and lower. I have multiple rhodie original painted mags to go with. The stock/grip will be switched to a Zim/Rhodie painted that came on the lower originally- the stock pictured can be negotiated.

Next up is my HD-18 that has had the fill Russian SVD clone treatment- this rifle already had Izhmash proofs on barrel and receiver but now also has a FULL refinish in authentic Russian paint, a Russian rear sight leaf, Russian polymer stock and handguards (both ink stamped), a Russian flashider with bayo lug- has the smooth dust cover- if you are looking for a modern Russian SVD- this is it. Includes 2 mags, feg manuals, feg PSO-1 scope, Minty 90’s Russian military PSO-1 scope, Russian moss scope cover, feg case (if it fits in the box)- Asking $8950 plus actual shipping for the whole package or will sell without the Russian scope for $8650 plus ship.

-I am selling my Sako TRG 42A1- this rifle is practically new and has some blemishes on the side of the receiver as it was a demo gun. Finished in tungsten grey, chambered in .300 win mag, only 10 rounds through the pipe from me- includes manual, box, mag, and some mlok rails- fitted with a Steiner 5-25 T5xi scope that has the SCR reticle- steiner rings- SPF

-Lastly I am selling my Arsenal 104FR fitted with legit Bulgy military furniture- great condition- no blemishes etc and has very few rounds down the pipe- no canted sights and is a great shooter. Asking $2400 plus ship

Due to Floridaguntrader.com being down I’ll give this site a shot. Not sure if there’s a limit or restrictions on new members being able to contact or create ads for buying/selling but that’s where I’ll be lurking.

I’m looking at a number of scope options to put on either a 6.5 LMT MWS 20” auto loader or a 308 Tikka Tact 1 24”.

I currently have an NXS 3.5-15x50 that I moved from the LMT to the Tikka and I’ve been thinking about something with more magnification for the LMT.

Two of the scopes I’m considering are Nightforce. One is a pretty pristine NXS 5.5-22x56 and another is the same but with 50mm objective. Or, I have an option to get a very well used (but not abused) ATACR 5-25x56.

Is there a significant advantage of the ATACR over the NXS? It would cost about $100 more plus the cost of mount/rings with the added wear and tear.

Eyeball test says the Bravo w/ spigot is probably very similar but curious if anybody happens to own one. I already have the Bravo w/ spigot.

I am looking for a lightweight hunting suppressor for an AR-10 Winchester 243. I know everyone has their favorite brand, I have Thunder beast, Liberty, AAC cans. I know there are several new suppressor companies out there now. What I'm looking for is the most noise reduction and a very lightweight can. I have an AR-10 243 that weighs around 14 pounds with a thermal scope on top. This will be on a tripod for nighttime coyote hunting. What cans do you recommend that fits.

Been friends with this guy since I was maybe 20 (knocking on 50 here in a bit). And every time we lose touch for a bunch of years I figure it must have been my fault. This thread is more a bitch session for me because I don't have a ton of friends that I keep in contact with, maybe 6. And only a couple of them get right back to me. Everybody's busy, you all know the drill. Always been more of a loner myself, but I do enjoy shooting the shit with the brothers of my choosing.

Anyone else having Amazon deliveries at odd hours?

A buddy had a car driving very slowly past his rural home at 3:30 in the morning. After multiple times, it pulled into his driveway, the driver exited and began walking around his house. The driver then met the homeowner (and his 1911 and taclight). The African's shaky English was even shakier until they sorted things out.
He was an Amazon driver trying to find the correct address and figure out which door to drop the package at.
Totally legit, and now better educated on the risks of being a stranger walking around a farmstead at night.

I assumed that this was a very rare occurrence and or only happened in my buddy's area.
Until I heard gravel at 4:00am...

A small SUV slowly crept up my long narrow dead end gravel drive (way in the middle of nowhere) and stopped beside my truck.
I assumed the worst, and yelled out asking what they were doing and shined the front of the vehicle.
(no license plate on the front)
The dome light then came on revealing a small young black person. (my black friends are much larger and much older)
I definitely didn't know this person, or vehicle, so I waited to see what they would do.

A little lady slowly exited and walked in front of her headlights holding a package high in the air.
She stood there a few seconds and announced "package delivery, Amazon". I inquired "at this hour?" and she said they deliver 3:00 to 7:00am.

I realized that it was probably legit, told her to set it in front of the steps, thanked her, and told her to have a nice day.
(I figured I had already scared her half to death so I was tying to sound much more friendly than before!)

Of course it was actually for my neighbor, which she soon realized and came back up the drive.
We told her to just carry it across to his house which she did. Apparently, she needed a picture or a scan because no sooner then she backed away from my place she drove up to my neighbors house (combat Vet). I thought "Oh Shit" she's determined to get herself shot.
Fortunately, all went well and she was on her way.

I'm all for expedient package deliveries, but this seems like a bad idea.
I am however, glad that I am aware of it for future reference.
