Precision Rifle Gear Precision Build Questions

I am delving into a precision build for a PRS class and a prairie dog shoot this year. I'm planning on going big and picking up a 737R barreled action, looking at Straight Jacket or Jason Schur to put it together for me (other suggestions welcome). I have some questions (maybe too many) I'm hoping to get some advice on.

I have an original (before MDT) JAE-700 I plan to use, a Timney with a wildly curved profile that I might replace (pretty sure they don’t make it anymore), and a lot of the basic accessories. I thought I was set on using a Vortex Razor HD 4.5-27x56 but the Arken EP5 has caught my eye. From what I have looked into, they are relatively close with a lot of people saying the Razor has better clarity.
-Is that the only significant difference?
-Is it worth 3x the cost?

I’ve been reloading for a long time but I will be new to precision reloading, I need to get an annealer and I am planning on getting a Forster Coax. I have a Lyman Turret and a Dillon XL750 but from what I understand the concentricity/perpendicularity of these aren’t up to snuff for precision reloading.
-In terms of dies, what should I be looking at?
-What do people use for trimming? I only have a basic trimmer, do I need anything better?
-Is crimping necessary or do you just use neck tension?
-Tumbler vs Ultrasonic? (I have both) I have heard that the heat from ultrasonics can negatively affect precision brass, I’m suspect of this.
-Any other equipment recommendations?

I think 6 Dasher makes sense for me. I know it’s the “it” cartridge, but its performance and recoil are appealing. I’ve seen barrel life all over the map (500 to 3k) so I don’t know what to think there. I know brass is only made by a few people but there are a lot of options for projectiles. I reload and shoot a lot of basic cartridges (9mm, 45 ACP, .223, 300 AAC, .308, 30-06, 45-70) so this will be a jump in terms of uniqueness.
-Is this the right choice?
-Load recommendations?

As far as the barrel I plan to use a 26” MTU. I have a SiCo Saker 762 but I know a lot of people run muzzle brakes instead.
-6 Dasher has tame recoil, is it recommended to use a muzzle brake to bring it down as much as possible?
-Barrel length/profile the right choice?

Trump Floats Shipping America’s Serial Criminals to ‘Foreign Land’ for ‘Very Small Fee’

A poster came up with a great idea. Ship them to an isolated island, where they can kill each other! Have cameras setup everywhere for pay per view.

“We also have many violent criminals in our country, however, that did not necessarily come here illegally, but have been arrested 30 times, 35 times, 41,42 times, in a couple of cases,” Trump said.

He then highlighted heinous crimes, ranging from murder in general to criminals pushing passengers in front of subways to baseball bat assaults to violent home invasions of elderly folks.

“I don’t want these violent repeat offenders in our country any more than I want illegal aliens from other countries who misbehave,” Trump said.

“And I say, and this is subject to getting it approved, but if they’ve been arrested many, many times–they’re repeat offenders by many numbers–I want them out of our country,” he added. “I also will be seeking permission to do so.”

Trump then said America would pay “a very small fee” to a “foreign land” that housed the worst of criminals:

Quick question for the "watch guys" on the Hide here...

Hi Hide,

I recently got into automatic watches- I personally find the mechanics behind them to be absolutely fascinating. This should be a quick an easy question but for those that have more experience than I do with automatic watches- what has been your experience with their accuracy as compared to an atomic clock. Granted I know that a quartz movement is going to be be more accurate but it just lacks the 'nuances' I'll say that I feel is so interesting with this particular animal.

If it's of any help- I'm happy to share what brands/models I'm playing with here & my experiences... They're both Hamilton's... from what I can tell both using the same Swiss movements, one field watch with a titanium housing, the other a more... dressy watch with what I'm all but sure is a stainless steel housing. The more dressy watch has a date box (so maybe a minor difference in the Swiss movement that they use).

I've been playing around with the field watch almost exclusively trying to nail down the accuracy and my longest test has been a day or two over 3 weeks and if I'm doing my math correctly I'm running fast just about 8 seconds a day.

I know that different brands have different tolerances but I was just curious what other's experiences were using automatic watches. 8 seconds a day (one way or the other) might not sound like a tremendous amount but the compounded effect can be... rather interesting I'll say. Likely this is just the 'nature of the beast' with mechanical timepieces but is +/- 8 seconds a day what you're seeing and if you use mechanical/automatic watches in your daily life- do you have an established protocol of when/how often you re-sync your watches to keep you moving forward?

Thanks in advance.

Precision Rifle Gear Just getting started, looking for gear advice.

Hey y’all,

I have a rifle on order and was curious as to what support gear I should be looking at for getting started in precision shooting.

I plan to do some target shooting and eventually PRS.

I have a rifle, scope, scope mount, bubble level, silencer, rear bag, bipod, and ammo.

Any advice on what I should prioritize getting next would be greatly appreciated!
