Currently waiting for approval with my first suppressor. I pulled the trigger on a Banish Backcountry for Hunting. Slincer Central, I feel like, fed me a great sales pitch, and I bit when I shouldn't have. That's for another conversation.

My current hunting setup with a TiPro 3 or 4 brake is right at 8 lbs. With the switch-up I've done in optics and adding the suppressor, I imagine I'll be at 8 1/4lbs, so I don't mind adding a brake to the suppressor at 1.5oz with the SRS brake.

Does a brake help a suppressor? I understand how a brake helps without a suppressor, but I don't understand how it helps inside a suppressor.

Tikka T1x will not eject a fired case frame the chamber. Approximately 500 rounds fired from the gun. It was fine for a while, but started leaving fired cases jammed in the chamber. It will extract non fired rounds, in chamber. Bolt has been cleaned, chamber cleaned. The extractor won’t go over the case rim of a fired case. There’s a “fix” to remove a small amount of material from the extractor, but that hasn’t changed anything.

Happy new year Gents. Striking out on finding correct sling swivels I decided to make mine. I bought a few 513 rears but with 1 inch loops. Having just restored my Di-acro #2 bender, I figured it was a good first project with it. I estimated what I thought would be a good starting point and made a couple loops. Would someone with originals check my measurements so I can adjust?

For the front, I will machine a one piece post but also need some dimensions on the threaded stud.

This is just the rail (if you already have an LWRC DI upper with the screws, this should work.

The handguard that comes with the 16" rifle is too short, IMHO, so this is a necessary upgrade.

I have a new, never used Spuhr sp-5602. Asking $330

My son and I both have SR-762’s; his a 2016 version, mine from 2019.
I can find spares like pistons, firing pins, gas regulators, cam pins, regulator detent clip, etc, but I can’t find extractors anywhere, which is the most likely part to fail.
Any guidance would be appreciated on an extractor from another .308 AR platform that would work.
I could have a gunsmith machine me a couple, but I’d tether rely on something manufactured with the processes required for the part to have the required resilience.
