Making sense of Zero and dialing

I am perplexed with this. Still fairly new so perhaps I'm missing something obvious?

6mm Dasher, 30in barrel. I zeroed at 100y Used a free ballistic calculator to get the dial at 500y, showed 9.1 but what was accurate on paper was 8.5
No problem, environment etc affects.

Zeroing temperature was 68F and this was at 13F, if that affects.

300y - calculator showed 3.7, actual was... 0.5 up

What doesn't make sense is how my actual dial is up by only 0.5 at 300y when I zeroed at 100y
I haven't had a chance since then to verify at 100y again, that's my next step. Is there something am I missing or for some reason my zero changed drastically on its own?

Thank you

SOLD Delta Automated Powder Measure (APM) with FX-120i scale

IMG_5501.jpeg

The purpose of this machine is to measure and dispense an accurate powder charge using extruded smokeless powder that is within +/- a single kernel. Of course, speed is important as well. One of the features of the Delta APM is that it takes the kernel density into consideration when delivering individual kernels. This allows the system to feed a pre-calculated number of kernels without having to evaluate the total weight between delivering each kernel, which in turn speeds up the process.

This is a very accurate powder measurement system capable of measuring repeated charge weights to within a single kernel. The FX-120i has become a staple in gunpowder automated measurements and the APM from Jimmy Todd utilizes it to accurately dispense extruded powder to the +/-0.02g. This APM has been upgraded with a Harrell's Precision Classic Culver Measure. The Classic Culver Measure features a double roller bearing construction (needed for repeated use while under tension from a chain drive), Brass metering devices with 4 cutting edges encapsulated in aluminum which is capable of chopping through any kernels that stop other volumetric measures on automated devices. The Culver Measure has a 6 to 120 grain capacity.

I have attached the user's manual for more info and you can contact Jimmy who will help with any questions you might have setting it up.

No trades, please. 5% Discount for Cash. Local face-to-face transfer is preferred but I can box it all up and ship it if needed.

Price: $1000.00 for everything in the picture
Location: Centennial, CO
Contact: DM me [Lou] with your phone number and any questions. I will message or txt you back and if you want to move on the sale we can talk over the phone and work out a payment.

Optics Swarovski Binos and Scope, S&B Klassik, Leupold Mk 5, Eotech HHS V

First off, I'm going to acknowledge the "how in the hell?" question that people over on arfcom have been hitting me up with. I initially had five of these Swarovski EL binos and have sold two. I did some work for a dealer and we came up with an idea that helped us both. He'd over bought on these and they aren't moving fast enough. So he offered them as partial payment at a significant discount. So he cleared out inventory, doesn't have to come out of pocket as much, and I get to sell these to increase me profit on the job. And yes, I'm making a profit on them. That doesn't mean I can just give them away, but they are significantly cheaper with me than with anyone else. Onto the sale!

My rules: I do not accept payment via goods and services. On request, I'll link you my profile on arfcom where I have 287 positive feedback spanning almost 14 years.

Edit: I'll accept paypal, venmo, or cashapp for payment.

NOT looking for any trades at this time.

Three BRAND NEW Swarovski EL 10x42 binoculars. These are all unused with full warranty in place. $1500 shipped each.

Swarovski NL Pure 10x42 binoculars. These were taken out on two hunts. Insanely clear and amazing in every way, but it's honestly more than I need in a set of binos. $2500 shipped

Swarovski Z6i 2.5-15x56 4AI illuminated reticle. This scope got zeroed and then sat on a rifle for a few months before I kind of fell into a Z8i. No lens covers for this one. $2000 shipped.

SOLD Leupold Mk5 3.6-18x44 Tremor 3 non-illuminated. Model number 173299. This is brand new in the wrapper. I thought I was going to build something for this, but that never materialized. $1600 shipped. SOLD

Schmidt & Bender Klassik 2.5-10x56 with illuminated reticle. I went from this to the Z6i and then to the Z8i. This was mounted and never zeroed. Very light ring marks that are only visible under perfect lighting. $1300 shipped.

Eotech HHS V. This is an EXPS 3-4 with a G45 5x magnifier behind it. Brand new in box. Just another thing I picked up thinking I would make a build around and never did. $1,000 shipped

Springfield Echelon 4.0C: The Compact 9mm That Thinks It’s Bigger Than It Is

Echelon 4C

Alright, here’s the deal with the Springfield Echelon 4.0C. It’s like the new kid at the gym—compact but punching way above its weight. This 9mm wants to slide into your concealed carry rotation and convince you it’s worth the spot. So, is it all show, or does it actually deliver? Let’s find out.

The Lowdown

Caliber: 9mm Luger. Because why mess with perfection?

Barrel Length: 4 inches—long enough to hold its own, short enough to keep things discreet. Threaded option available for the “extras” crowd.

Frame: Compact, because nobody wants a holster that doubles as a hernia risk.

Weight and Size: Light Enough to Forget, Heavy Enough to Matter

Cabelas Covenant 7 vs Arken Ep5

Hey there!

I've got a cabelas covenant 7 currently living on my 308 and I'm thinking about possibly upgrading to an Arken EP-5....

HOWEVER, the more I read about the Arken, the more I second guess this move.

Has anyone on here compared the two? I don't really have any complaint with the Cabela's scope, especially being that I got it for a steal (I work PT behind the fun counter).

Anyone care to chime in on this? I could always wait and get something like a vortex pst or a razor next year - just dont want this to be a waste.

Thanks!
