The Democrat Lawfare Playbook for Trump's second term is out!

And it's out in exquisite detail for all to see!

I've had to plant my fucking ass on my recliner for over a week after having cataract surgery on both eyes. Had my last surgery yesterday. All I've been able to do is read (with a pair of cheaters) because I was told not to drive and absolutely NO SHOOTING a centerfire rifle (recoil) until the post-op exam visit next week. All that has to do with keeping my new astigmatism eye lens implants from moving around until healed.

Today I ran into this gem (video below) posted by a guy on a YT channel called "Legal AF" The meaning of AF is being debated but it I'm going with "As Fuck".

Anyway, I did all the legwork so you don't have to. The site is a part of an outfit out somewhere around New York called "MeidasTouch" and is "an American progressive media company. The network describes itself as doing 'pro-democracy' journalism" and was started to run lawfare " attacks on Trump during his first run for President in the 2020 election cycle.

Here's the video (2:37 seconds):

Here is a link to some information that the Gun Owners of America produced. At the end of the article is a linked request to sign a e-letter to your senators. You will have the ability to edit the letter. And, of course, after submitting the letter GOA will ask for a donation. You don't have to give a donation but I did anyway. GOA has never backed down with fighting for our 2A rights. A small donation is the least we can do for an organization that doesn't compromise.

Tonneau covers that allow tool chest access.

Recently got a new truck, and would like a Tonneau cover for it. It needs to alllw access to a chest style tool box. UWS makes a notched chest that accomidates most folding styles,so I'm toing with that for the box.
What brands make a good product? I'd like it to offer full rain protection, and something with durable handles/latches.

Seeing Gator, Bakflip and Tonno mentioned a good deal.

Precision rimfire state of the Union for 2025, help get me up to speed please…

I was really into the precision rimfire game my whole life but the last 3 ish years my life has gone a little sideways (all in good ways) & left little to no time for this lifelong passion. But I am back! I want to build something new and get back into the mix.

I am curious who are the major players in the “custom” or high end precision rimfire game these days. I know of the tried and true such as Anschutz, Feinwerkbau, Walther, etc for single shot Olympic style guns, but how about the R700 footprint based stuff? It looks like there have been some big changes at VGW since Mike Bush left, are they only currently offering the 360? It looks like the RimX is still going strong. It seems the Ultimatum Duce kinda dropped out of the mainstream. I either forgot what happened or am not aware, did they ever really get that off the ground?

I will be keeping and eye on what comes out at Shot this year. Is there anyone else that has come to market with anything cool? I see Tikka is still doing the T1X and Bergara is holding their own as I am sure CZ is. Who else?

How about the top shelf custom rimfire gunsmiths out there? My go to was always Mark Penrod and I probably will still use him, but who has really made a name for themselves the last few years, especially in the repeater game?

Revolver load .357 plated in 9mm?

I just got my hands on a pair of new Ruger Bisley Blackhawk convertibles 5.5" barrels in both 45 Colt/45 ACP and 357/9mm. The Berrys .452 plated hybrid hollow points ran great in the 45 ACP cylinder and I was just wondering if I use the oversize for caliber and brass .357 plated in 9mm cases it would also increase accuracy with the larger bore diameter, instead of like jacketed .355 normal pills. I am looking at the Berrys 148 gr plated hollow base wadcutter in .357. for 9mm cylinder. Also any load suggestions or advise for that, or these combo of revolvers if you're familiar with it. I'm just getting ramped up for revolver loading. Thanks!

Give it to me straight(Objective too big)

I sort of inherited this American Rifle Company scope mount, and everything on paper says it should be ok, thing is rock solid, but the scope(Steiner m7xi) is absolutely breathing down the neck of the front handguard.

I'm wasting my time trying to make this work right?

I've tried 2 different scope caps and it just ain't happening.

I'm not really wanting to mill my handguard for this should I just pick up a badger C1 that's a little taller and sell it?

Look at my brass.

Playing with 155.5 bergers in my 300winmag. Loaded three on the upper end of the scale just to look for the limit. Loade 73,74, and 75gr of H4350. Book max is 74.

My chamber was built around the 215 so I'm jumping them almost 1/4"
With the long freebore there I was fairly comfortable with that 1gr over max.

Velocities as follows.
73gr- 3270
74gr- 3326
75gr- 3393

Left to right, 73, 74, 75. All showing slight ejector marks, which 73, and 74 kind of surprised me. The primers don't really look bad on any of them though. No resistance on the bolt lift whatsoever.

Basically like an LWRCi Six8 receiver set with some more features, ambi controls, fed with new 6mm ARC/6.5 Grendel/338 ARC PMAGs.

The receivers on these are larger in the magazine well area in both width and length, but still AR-15 sized overall in form factor for the carbine.

This will basically open up a new ecosystem of AR-15 receivers and magazines around the Grendel/ARC family of cartridges.

Should be cool to see what they’ve done with the bolt and barrel extension.

I currently use an rcbs chargemaster lite that I have had for 5+ years. I am looking to upgrade. My lite is slow, and under/overthrows quite a lot. I am looking at the RCBS chargemaster supreme, the hornady auto charge pro (this one has my interest peaked due to its size and setup), and am willing to look at others. Currently the matchmaster and fx120i are not in budget. If anyone is able to compare the hornady and rcbs, please do.

223 rem bullet choice 1-300

Asked this question on a other forum, and got a plethora of answers, all seem justifiable from 52 grain to 80. just curious what the thoughts over here are from this crowd more geared towards PRS.

Gathering parts for a 223 rem bolt action build.
Just wondering what bullet you fellas would use for shooting between 1-300 yards?
I was thinking a 9 twist and bullets from 55 to 73, but alot of folks seem to think the lighter ones will get blown around too much.

Just shooting for smallest groups possible and plinking. 80 percent of my shooting will be down from 1-200 yards. Absolute max of 300.

Edit: 20-24 inch barrel paper and steel

Thanks fellas
