Audere Adversus 36mm 38mm high (basically 1.5”) mount. Has been used, but is still in great condition. Just purchased on here for my ZCO Scope and added a diving board as well as side picatinny rail. However, the mount does not afford enough space for the scope and causes the parallax to seize up.

I already have have a C236 NXS - 5.5-22x56mm scope w a MOA NPR1 reticle, I bought in 2012 for use on a Savage .308 bolt rifle build. I have a new build Savage Bolt rifle in a XLR chassis in 6.5 CM that needs a proper scope, and have been considering either another NXS or instead, a NX8 4x32x50mm MOAR F1 C624. I don't want to consider the additional cost of a high end ATACR scope, even w my vet discount.

I live in AZ so have access to Ben Avery range and can shoot 300yds at the benchrest range or out to 1000 yrds, although I usually visit a friends place in NM where his range goes out to 1250+ yds w steel targets. I shoot occasionally and for fun, due to many broken bones and injuries. Using my NXS, the glass has been more than sufficient to meet my needs, even with old eyes, and I typically shoot in full daylight, although occasionally before sunset at the range in NM
1. Is the glass on the NX8 comparable to that of the NXS?
2. what will I loose if I go with the NX8 w the 50mm objective vs the NXS w 56mm?
3. is the current NXS inventory comparable to a 2012 manufactured NXS scope in terms of quality and most importantly glass?
4. is the NXS being discontinued and why?

Selling my Seekins PH2 to free up space for other guns I don't need. Rifle shoots and looks amazing, total of 327 rounds down the pipe.

Running .223 rem with 75 elds.

On a loaded round , outside neck diameter is .248”.

After sizing (.247” bushing), my outside neck diameter is .246”. Then I run a .223” (actually measured at .223”) mandrel. The outside neck diameter is then .247”, but if I measure the inside neck diameter, I have .222”.

Is this considered .001 or .002” neck tension? Bullet diameter is .224.

Any suggestions?

Yes, I did a search, no results. Does anyone have a gen3 yet?
Compared to gen 2, is it worth the swap? I shoot lefty often so the left side charging handle isn't necessarily a good thing. The sealed upper is, and they are hella maneuverable due to light weight up front and very light weight on the back end. Having run lots of piston guns, I am a BRN180 fan, but not sure about the gen3 just yet.
