Awesome suppressor muzzle brake front end attachment by Recoilx

Shot a match with the owner of recoilx this past fall where he had one of his prototype units and it caught my interest. I had a chance to buy a unit this last week and took it up for some testing.

Overall it performs really well... obviously slight noise penalty but very effective. I felt like it was pretty close to the best of both worlds between shooting fully suppressed vs just a brake only.

I was able to stay on target in the glass through the full recoil off a few positions and can't wait to try it on a bigger 30 cal soon.

I was using a silencerco hybrid 46 with their 30 cal self timing brake.

On a gas gun 223 it had noticably less back pressure than just my front end cap alone which I thought was interesting.

Seems like a legit option for those of us with cans already vs buying something like the maverick straight up. I have been primarily shooting a tbac can but will probably run a can with a Recoilx brake on it this season.

Not affiliated in anyway with recoilx but I think the owner is a stand up guy from my interactions with him and I like supporting solid products from good folks.

Maybe Hinchchcliffe was right...

Accessories Remington xm2010 Racs chassis for sale. Right hand Short action.

I purchased this chassis new in 2015 from Euro Optic.com before Remington released the Racs to the general public. Sorry no original box. It includes everything in the pictures. I built a Remington 5r 308 and never fired it. Has been in my gun safe since 2015. Chassis is in excellent unused condition. I will ship at buyers expense or you can pick up in East Texas. I recommend that it is shipped insured with signature required and a tracking number. I also have a nice Leupold scope https://www.ebay.com/itm/235893049493, harris bipod https://www.ebay.com/itm/235893029810, and an accu shot monopod https://www.ebay.com/itm/235893003351 for sale on Ebay if you are interested. $4000 for chassis, but will entertain offers. SOLD Shanghai Public Security Bureau-issued Browning FN1922 (380ACP)

This pistol may be an outlier in this forum but I rather give some fellow here a shot at it before putting it on Gunbroker. This Browning FN1922 is in good condition for a century-old firearm, matching serial numbers, no import mark. It has its original holster and two magazines. The caliber is 9mm Kurtz (380ACP or 9x17 mm). This version is less common than the 7.65 (32ACP) FN1922. What's unique is the two Chinese characters on the grip (滬公)- abbreviation for "Shanghai Public Security Bureau" (Shanghai Police Bureau), probably one of their issued sidearms in the 1930s. A nice piece for a collector with Asian/Chinese interest.

$1000 shipped to your FFL (must accept from private individuals).

Night Vision LIF green filtering capabilities

I have a question for anyone who has and uses an LIF on their NODs.

I understand that LIF's are designed to filter a very specific wavelength of IR to protect NODS from being trashed by high power military targeting lasers. As a side effect of that, they also filter out green visible light around 532nm.

I think this could be useful for hunting with others who have thermal, but not night vision, and need a light to see while walking. But as soon as someone dons a headlamp, anyone with NODs sees a bunch of shadows, flashing, blowback, etc. However, if the person using visible light was using a green light of 532nm, and the NOD wearers were using LIFs, theoretically the visible light wouldn't have an effect on the night vision because the filter would block it.

Is anyone doing this? Also, could someone who owns NODs with LIF and also owns a green LED torch see how well the LIF filters it? I suspect that the LEDs would be creating dirty green light of varying wavelength, and the filtered NODs would still see some of it. But how much? If its a significant reduction, it could still potentially be worth it.

Anyone with experience with this?
