Letting one of my BA’s go. This is a Defiance Tenacity with the integral recoil lug. Action has about 1200 rounds on it as does the barrel. It is chambered in 6.5 CM. The barrel is a 29” Hawk Hill. I don’t know what they call the profile but it is like a Heavy Palma profile. This is set up on a Bug Nuts system. The Nut shows some tool marks because I didn’t have a Bug Nut wrench when I installed it. Other than that, BA is in overall excellent condition and shoots 140 Hornady’s like a laser. The action was manufactured by Defiance for Nomad Precision out of Kentucky. I will sell the action and barrel separate. $975.00 for Action and $200 for barrel or $1100 together. I’m slowly gathering parts to go down the reloading rabbit hole. So far I have ordered a Forster Co Ax and 3 sets of there bench rest FL sizing dies and seater dies for .270, 6.5 creed and 30-06.

My main purpose will be hunting inside 500 yards and to shoot small groups on paper. However I do plan to take the 30-06 and 6.5 out to 1000 yards once I get a hand on learning the ropes of reloading. Not into PRS or ELR at the moment so this is strictly a hobby for me.

I’ve been doing a lot of research of powder throwers and it seems the Auto Trickler V4 paired with the A&D fx120i scale is the gold standard with the chargemaster supreme being a solid choice as well.

1. Will the chargemaster fit my needs with the ranges I listed above?

2. Will I notice a big enough difference in group size with the Auto Trickler V4 to justify the cost?

Keep in mind I’m brand new to reloading, and will only be making small batches of ammo (50 rounds) at a time. The auto trickler seems pricey for someone just getting started but I’m also a buy once cry once individual. If the chargemaster will fit my needs then that leaves me $600 to go towards a garmin chronograph or reloading components. All recommendations welcome.

Brand new AR10 308. V7 Harbinger. Gun is super nice and lightweight which is why i bought it etc. i wish the guys were still open i'd call them Joel is awesome.

3 quick questions as i was running some rounds through it today and tuning the AGB.

I've shot it about 50rds.

1. Typically i close the gas block and put one round in the mag... Shoot and open AGB 1 click at a time until it locks back then give it one more click... Is 1 click sufficient or should i go 2... At perfect lockback its ejecting about 3 o'clock. 1 click past its shooting about 1:30-2???

OK 2 things out of the normal are happening to me see below...

1. About 3-4 times while adjusting it would not cycle at all and the shelf was stuck in the chamber... It was about all the muscle i had to pull the charging handle back to get the round out, man it was stuck like realllyyy bad, thought i was gonna break something pulling then it would pop out... What am i doing wrong here? Shooting brand new PMC FMJ 150g ammo by the way, no reloads, and it also did it once with a barnes "reduced recoil" that i was trying for my daughter. so two different ammos this happened to.

2. Also Maybe 3-4 out of 50rds the charging handle maybe somewhat close to the last round in the mag if not sometimes the last,,, the charging handle pops loose and slaps me in the nose a bit. Not horribly bad but enough to make you flinch when it does it.... Should i look at something or take a picture of where its locking down? Ive not experieced this before on my other guns. Only thing i noticed on inspection was a lot of oil coming out of the gun in the charging handle area,,, so i just wiped that down really good and will go from there.
