Custom action options for 7PRC build

Looking to start a 7PRC build next year and getting a parts list started. My experience with custom actions is that I own a short action Origin and have shot Impact’s, Stiller, Curtis, and Bat’s. That said, im tempted to just get another Origin because its what I know and I like it. I wouldn’t mind a more “costly” action but would like to limit the price to $1300-$1400 at most. I know a ton of stuff is out there now and mainly looking to get input on if going up another $300-$400 from the Origin is worth it. This gun will be dressed out with a 28” barrel, MDT or KRG chassis and probably a gen 3 Razor. That said I will not compete with this gun but will occasionally hunt, positional and prone long range.

What say the Hide??

SOLD SOLD: 26" 6BR TL3/Origin Barrel

Just finished testing this Green Mountain 26" 416SS turned on centers and lapped 1.2" straight barrel on my TL3.

Can be used on an TL3 or Origin with Hunts Long Range Lug.

Got a bunch of these GM 416 SS barrels in various calibers to test and see how they shoot. So far, every single one has shot lights out and this 6BR was no exception.

I shot 175rd through it with the standard 30gr Varget under 105 Hybrids that shot consistently in the 0.2s and 0.3s with zero load development or seating depth tweaking.

I then decided to do my final test in this barrel by doing a American Reloading components budget load. I used 16x fired Lapua 6BR brass, CCI450, American Reloading 108 ELD pulls, and 29.1gr American Reloading MP540 Powder (similar to AR Comp, n135, 8208)

26" Green Mountain 416SS 7.5t
TL3/Origin 6BR
1.2" straight chambered by PVA
6BR Eachus Chamber (.272 neck, .105fb)
No turn Lapua chamber
Muzzle Threaded 5/8-24
225rd down barrel

SOLD

29.1gr MP540 is Stupid accurate and amazing consistency with a ES 7.5 and SD 2.9 as shown in this 5 shot group!!

Is this a good setup for a new guy?

My plans are to start reloading for a .270, 6.5 creedmoor and 30-06 to start with. I want to make good precision ammo for the 30-06 to reach out to 1000 yards. This is what I had in mind.

-RCBS rock chucker supreme reloading kit.

-Frankford arsenal platinum case prep and trim station.

-RCBS powder trickler.

-308 shell holder and powder thrower bracket.

-Redding Premium full length sizing die and bullet seater.

-Digital calipers and a Hornady lock and load bullet comparator.

-Vibratory case tumbler and media for cleaning cases.

-Chronograph of some sort to measure bullet speed.

-Brass, powder, bullets and primers.

The RCBS kit comes with a reloading manual and a manual beam scale which I’ve heard is more accurate than the digital powder throwers just takes more time which is fine with me as I’ll just be making small batches of ammo to start with. Is there anything you would add or change, open to all suggestions as I don’t know anyone that reloads so I’ll be learning as I go.
