SOLD KRG Whiskey 3 Gen 6 Folder with Enclosed Foreend $1000

Selling my KRG W3 Gen 6 folder with the enclosed foreend. It is for R700sa and clones. It has a custom internal steel bar in the foreend for some weight, grip finger rest, light angled bag rider, and over molded cheek piece. I had to relieve the bolt cutout for my Tl3, see pics. I decided I like my XLR better for shooting, so selling this. I love this chassis, and it is probably the coolest looking chassis on the market. The paint job is spray paint and not cerakote. I wish I had a reason to keep it. External weights and SAP 2 round holder aren’t included. $1000 shipped. Insurance on buyer

KRG Bravo vs MDT Oryx

Question for the membership. Did some searching but didn't find a satisfactory answer so I figured I'd ask. Those that have experience with one or both what was the deciding factory between the Oryx and the Bravo? I'm working on a new build this winter and I'm between either a 700 short action or a T3 so compatibility shouldn't be an issue.

How does weight compare? Adjustability? Magazines and feeding? Overall build quality and fit? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.

Cerakote for Small Areas: Pro Needed?

Ordinarily I pay no attention to people on the web who claim this or that characteristic of your weapon will make you more likely to be convicted wrongly, because they're usually blowhard ignoramuses, but I saw a great video from a couple of lawyers who actually defend people who use guns, and it has me thinking about painting my pistol slides.

They said it's not rare for idiots to falsely accuse people of brandishing guns. It's easy to fool the cops, because when they ask people to describe what they saw, they always say "black" or "silver." The attorneys showed a disgusting pink gun in their video and said it was a safe bet, because no one is going to say "pink" when making a false accusation.

I am not going to have my pistols painted pink, but I think it might not hurt to put a big yellow band on each one's slide. Not the whole slides. Just enough to be obvious when the pistols are drawn. I have no need to camouflage anything, so it doesn't bother me if the guns are conspicuous.

Here is my question: is this something that is easily done at home with something like Cerakote, or is it best to find a pro and have him apply it?

I don't want to fool with rattle cans or other things that will come off in daily carry.

Horizontal stringing....but from only one type of ammo?

So this is starting to get strange...

77gr IMI Razorcore. I've shot this stuff out of 4 or 5 different guns now. Always between 1.5-0.8 MOA. However, I'm getting nearly similar horizontal stringing ONLY when shooting this ammo. Doesn't matter if it's bipod/pack/tripod. Doesn't matter the gun. All the groups have a horizontal stringing element.

I'm aware that traditionally, horizontal stringing/groups is a sign of issues with fundamentals, but this is not the case when I run OTHER ammo.

SOLD Nightforce NXS 3.5-15x50 - post factory Mil-Spec marked SOLD

Selling an early manufacture Nightforce NXS 3.5-15x50. In line with early military issue, mil-spec NXS's of the same model, this scope features an illuminated Second Focal Plane Mil-Dot reticle paired with 10 MOA turrets. I had the bottom of the housing engraved in the exact location, size and type as other, actual Mil-Spec marked units that feature the exact same specs as this scope (mil-dot reticle, 10 moa turrets, etc). If I didn't disclose this was not an actual Mil-Spec marked scope, you'd never know (other than a s/n lookup). Ball on a budget, cure your clone-autism and snag this "mil-spec" Nightforce at a fraction of the cost of an actual one. The scope is in fantastic condition and comes as shown.

SOLD

No trades please.
