SOLD Short Action M24 ish clone

Remington 700 in 308, M24 barrel, HS precision stock, Leupold scope bases, BDL bottom metal. Timney 510 triggger.

No optic, rings, or bipod (bipod can be had for an extra $75).

Now, for the "M24" part. The action is a G series, with factory 8-40 scope base holes, bolt is Sandstrom Gray coated and last 4 are stamped on the bolt handle. Factory Remington M24 profile barrel stamped "308 WIN" with Remington proof marks. Has some finish wear. Only weird thing about the rifle is it had old school rifle sights installed by Remington. Don't ask my why. I tossed it in a short action HS Precision stock and painted it, so it now looks like the first picture. For sale as a complete rifle.

$1000 Shipped PayPal F&F, Zelle, Venmo, USPS MO.

SOLD Trijicon ACOG TA110, .308 Red Horseshoe

Selling a really clean TA110 with the .380 Red Horseshoe reticle. It was purchased from a Dpt. and was basically new when I got it. 0 issues with it, clean glass, and I always used lithium batteries!
I put it in a pretty rare Larue LT799 ($~150) which were only sold under contracts. This is improved over the commercial option (LT100) as it has 3mounting positions (LT100 has 1) and the locking levers on the right side instead of left. I replaced the old hardware with the same spec, new YFS socket head bolts, and torqued them vibratite.
I also installed a One Hundred Concepts "Scope Cap Pro" ($100) and a Wager Machine lo-pro ACRO mount ($100) (MPS NOT INCLUDED)
Just throw your dot on top and this thing is ready to rock!

Rifle Competition Events Looking for ruck match partner, Charlotte area

Shooter in the Charlotte, NC area looking for a long term long range and ruck match team match partner.

I have 10+ years experience shooting long range matches, PRS, Steel Safari, Team Safari, Team Challenge, Gaurdian etc. and a couple ruck matches at Coleman'sCreek.

I'm 56 years old, 5'-7", 155lb, I keep in shape and compete in Gun Run and Proving Grounds fitness/shooting matches, so I can ruck, and I have all the gear for Mammoth etc. I've shot many team matches but nearly all have been with a one time partner. Would like to develop a regular bromance with someone in the NC area so we develop some repoir and can be more competitive. I want to shoot more ruck matches and NRL hunter type team matches.

I'm not a top shooter in long range so not looking to be super competitive, I can't train every weekend, but I can train/practice once or twice a month at least, more if we are local enough to train weekdays.

Hit me up or spread the word please.

New build concept

I’m planning a new build sometime in probably about 6 months or so, and I thought I would share the concept and see if anyone has any input.

I want a lightweight DMR style rifle for 1,000 yards and under that can still work well in close quarters, and also relatively lightweight and concealable. The concept is two fold, a no frills rifle that will break down in to a backpack for easy and discreet transport (I would like to try and get in to some hiking and maybe back country camping/hunting next summer/fall) and also something that can be used in an SHTF type scenario yet still break down in to a discrete bag to keep profile down. Mostly it’s an excuse to start playing with 6mm ARC.

So what I am thinking is a standard carbine lower except with a FAB defense R.A.P.S. Carbine stock, but the upper is the star, I’m thinking about using a quick detach barrel kit from Cry Havoc Tactical and an 18 inch 6mm ARC barrel and pretty basic MLOK free float hand guard and low profile gas block. I’m undecided on the bipod. I’m thinking an Arken EP-8 1-8x28 LPVO scope.

Broken down the entire package would only be 18 inches, and whatever the muzzle device is.

What do you think?

3-20x50 SB PMII (std) MTC Lockable Problem

I have a very lightly used PMII standard length 3-20 with the lockable MTC turrets. It was briefly mounted on a 308 before sitting a while and mounting on a new rifle. Ran perfectly before removing and remounting.

Issue: Neither the elevation, nor windage turrets are zeroing per the procedure. Another words, with the 2 retainer screws loosened, the turret still moves the reticle. I have tried multiple times and I am not able to set the turret at zero without moving the reticle. Otherwise it is tracking perfectly...

Procedure:
1. sight in (8.6 mils @ 100yd zero)
2. lock both turrets
3. loosen elevation turret retainer screws;
4. unlock turrets
5. dial elevation back to zero
6. follow procedure with windage (minimal)
7. fire for confirmation.
8. impact off 8.6 mils.

What am I doing wrong here? It has been a while. This has go to be user error for both turrets to act the same...
