Good morning everyone! So i have run into a bit of an odd situation. I am in need of the parts diagram for the SW 5.7 and FPC. While smith says they dont give them out to the public, i am hoping someone on the forums might have the PDFs they can share. Thanks in advance for your help

So I had to send in a LHT for warranty service after a failed custom turrent installation resultedin the turret being superglued in a locked position.

Got the scope back and mounted it. 1st range vist had trouble getting it dialed in. Thought maybe it was me. Went back yesterday and was shooting well. My Benelli Lupo with VX-5 printed the attached group so I know I was on. I could not get the LHT to zero again! Right before the mishap that caused the warranty issue I was printing 1/2 inch groups at 200.

So a few questions:

Has anyone had trouble with a Vortex directly after getting it back from service? Does vortex have some kind of recoil machine or something they test these in before they send them out?

I can switch it for a Veractiy I have lying around to test the scope to see what happens.

Should I try to print a group at 50 or 25 or something to see if it might just be me at 100?

Once I started to chase it, the gun did admittedly get hot, but from the outset this seemed to be an obvious issue.

Thanks for any feedback or tips. Right now, I would not take that gun hunting and am trying to find the most efficient way to figure this out.

Hi brains trust. Surely someone here has fitted a MDT flush 3 round 308 polymer magazine into a short action Hawkins Hunter DBM?

Its very close to fitting but the magazine catch seems to protrude too much to get past the latch or fit into the slot the surrounds the latch. Im unsure whether to sand the catch down slightly or make it fit some other way. I cant imagine i'm the first to try this, before i ruin the magazine im wondering if anyone has any tips?!

Anyone get one of the plus models yet? They were announced over the summer and there was a preorder on the site. I can’t seem to find them anymore. I did sign up for the preorder (no deposit) but haven’t heard anything. Just curious if maybe anyone is testing them on here or if they are just slowly filling orders before making them available more publicly.

I can't afford a full custom build at the moment, so I went with this. The trigger is actually pretty decent for the handful of times I've dry fired it. Anything (other than the decidedly negative opinion of the brand) that I should know about it? Or things I can do to make it better?

Happy to be here and learning a lot! I’ve been shooting, hunting and reloading hunting ammo my whole life but just getting into long range. Picked up a used Bergara HMR 6.5cm two years ago, tossed a PST gen II on it and developed a load. This summer I decided to take it to a local PRS style aimed at getting new guys into the sport and did pretty well, now I’ve shot 4 matches this year and I’m hooked!

Pretty happy with how I’m doing and how my loads are shooting through this bergara but I am definitely realizing a 12.4lb 6.5cm isn’t exactly perfect for spotting my impacts to make small adjustments. Still debating if I want to do a full build and keep this as a back up and to let buddies use so I can convince them to come with me to try it out or just drop this bergara in a chassis and add some weight.
I do want to upgrade this optic since it is MOA and I run a bit better glass on my hunting rifles so this PST is just meh. It hasn’t hurt me at all but converting what others say their holds are is just annoying. Plus then I can drop this on my CZ 457 and try some local 22 matches.
So I will be poking around the PX and surely asking some questions!

Spent this past weekend down in Henry County TN at their annual Vintage & Modern Sniper Rifle World Championship shoot and had a fantastic time shooting with the club and catching up with many GB members that compete,(more latter) but the best came after the shoot.

I had a chance to acquire a complete, numbers matching, Romanian VZ24 sniper rifle to add to the collection. Needless to say I jumped all over it as the mounts are rare, and the IOR scopes are virtually unobtainable. So after unloading my gear I went out back to grab a few quick pics of it before the sun sets.
