I have been having issues with one of my Impact 737 actions. I am running mild 6.5X47 loads. After about 20 rounds, I am getting carbon on the bolt face and it won’t chamber another round. I have to take the bolt out and clean off the carbon before it will seat another round. I am shooting suppressed with a TABC Ultra 7. Has anyone run into this? It’s rather annoying and the only thing I can think of is there is a slight rough spot on the bolt face trapping the carbon. I contacted Impact and they think carbon flakes might be falling out of the suppressor, but this has happened in the horizontal position.

Weatherby vanguard L/A with a new unfired heavy fluted barrel from McGowen (I think). I ordered this barrel several years ago with the idea that I'd be able to load and shoot 175's at ridiculous speeds. The 270wby case with those heavies will make a long range powerhouse that should rival the 28nos or 7prc ballistically. I never got around to putting it in a stock or firing it. I did spray the barrel and action, mainly just to protect it, since the barrel arrived in the white. The paint has been dinged up just a bit from moving things around in my safe, so you may want to paint it all again, or cerakote it. This barrel is a heavy varmint contour, 1-8 twist, 26" length. $600 shipped.

These things are shooters. I have been looking for one for sale for a while to determine what this one should sell for, and nobody seems to be selling them. Fluted barrel, stainless action and barrel. This one is chambered in the reliable 30-06. I killed my best deer to date with this rifle. I sponge painted the bell and Carlson stock it's sitting in, and my gunsmith threaded it and blended the brake. If you want an indestructible, accurate and lightweight hunting rifle, you could do alot worse than this one. $800 shipped. I've also got several boxes of factory ammo available to the buyer, probably a set of dies, some brass etc..

I have a 50 gallon and a 30 gallon water heater in my crawl space. The 50 is leaking from the fittings where the inlet and outlet pvc connect to the top. Probably not a good idea to drop money into it since the water heater is 20 years old.

Looking at replacing it with a Rheem tankless. Does anyone have any experience with a tankless? Regrets? Definite yes?
