Reptilia ROF SAR like attachment but with a picatinny rail instead of a base ?

Reptilia makes an upper attachment for a scope mount that has a base to mount 1X type of optics
IMG_6660.jpeg

.
They also have a version that attaches to the tube and can be positioned straight up, at 45 degrees or whatever angle you desire

.
Is there a product out there just like those ^^^ that has a picatinny rail instead of a base ?
I have a QD base on my T2 already and I prefer keep it that way.
Thanks

I'm sorry, another over-pressure post....

I've looked through some of the previous posts about problems similar to mine, so I apologize if I'm rehashing an issue, but this is just different enough (to me anyway) to post it. I apologize in advance if I'm being repetitive.
And I need help.
Earlier this year I ordered, and received a Rock River LAR-BT3 in 6.5 Creedmore. Its intended purpose was to start PRS competition, since my son works with a guy that competes. The rifle is kept stock, except for a Vortex scope, and some weights for proper balancing.
I use only factory loaded ammo, since I don't have the time or patience for reloading. I've used Hornady 140 Match, Berger 144 Match (currently my choice), and Winchester 140 Match. I used Ammo Inc 140 Match for initial scope sighting to 200 yds (cheaper).
We were getting used to the rifle's performance at various distances, had shot about 400 rds through it, when we noticed a primer fell out of a fired case. The next few times it started happening more often, and the ejected cases started looking worse. That's when I started to try different factory loads as described above.
The signs are of EXTREME pressure. First I thought there was a carbon build up ring in the barrel/chamber. After a thorough chemical cleaning (left plugged barrel sit overnight with solvent), manual cleaning and rechecking I tried again: symptoms did not change.
Fast forward to experimenting with adjustable gas block, and more cleaning: nothing changed. Adjusted the gas block from full open to where it failed to extract: no real change. The fired brass was VERY difficult to manually extract with the gas closed off. I put original gas block back (since it worked fine in the beginning).
My last range outing for testing after ANOTHER thorough cleaning only showed me the problem is actually getting worse. Every ejected case is now missing the primer, and the rims are bent. Also noticed that accuracy has fallen off, from sub MOA to over 1.5 MOA. There's some damage from what I assume is the ejection port on the neck of the fired brass.
I should also note that I can easily chamber an unfired round with a gentle finger push, and the unfired case will readily fall out if I tilt the barrel and gently tap the rifle butt on a table.
I've tried reaching out to Rock River, but they're not answering my emails. The time I called and spoke with someone from Tech Support, they basically blew me off, blamed ALL the factory ammo as a "common industry problem", and "probably a dirty chamber/barrel". It really was a very insulting tone and conversation, so I thanked them for their time, and let it go. It seems I'm on my own here with an almost-new, expensive, non-functioning gas gun. If anybody knows who else to contact at Rock River Arms that would listen, that might help.
I'm expecting a set of Forster gauges tomorrow to check headspace. As to why headspace would change in a few hundred rounds, that's another question.
Anybody out there who can possibly help? I'm attaching a couple of pictures. You can also see neck damage on ejected brass, though it did that from the first day, before the over-pressure signs started.
Any answers are fully appreciated.

I have a Like New NightForce NXS for sale. I just upgraded to another ATACR and no longer need this one. Model C-509 with HS Turrets and Zero Stop. Plus High Power range 8-32x56mm with the Awesome MOAR-T Reticle.

I will give someone here a Great Deal.

Only $1350 Shipped TYD

Sub-2500$ USED USED USED

What’s the general opinion on the best optic you can “typically find” for under 2500$. We are NOT talking MSRP. Not from a dealer. But if you hop in a buy/sell/trade page, or a classified section: a scope you can usually see for under 2500$ pretty regularly.

Kahles 525i

Gen 3 razor
XTR pro

???Others????

Not interested in the “save a little more money” and get a way over 2500$ scopes. Cause yes, I’d get a S&B, tangent theta, or a zero comp. That’s not what I’m looking for.

Under 2500$, typically found in a used market. What’s the best.

Considering price, quality, warranty transfer, warranty in general (vortex the best?) Mount options, Etc. Let’s see your opinions. Feel ALOT of people wanna see this thread.

.223 Twist Rate

My Tikka action is at Preferred Barrels awaiting a new barrel. I went with a 24" heavy palma. I want to be able to shoot match grade heavier ammo as primary, but still shoot regular, off the shelf .223 if match grade gets scarce.

My question: is a 7.5 twist rate good? Any recommendations from .223 shooters. I ordered 7.5 but I have a few weeks to change it. This is a range gun, not a hunting rifle.

Thanks Hide!
C King

PS, I brought my action to them in person and they were great! I even got a tour of the facility and saw how the sausage is made.

100 yard accuracy not translating at further distance

New hiccup for me, hopefully it’s a relatively common occurrence.

BLUF; consistent sub moa 100 group. Very inconsistent hits at 1000. Stand deviations around 12 and acceptable ES. 2 moa target at 1000 (20”)

Any thoughts on where to start for trouble shooting?

Set up: vortex viper 5-25 properly torqued
Aero Solus action
Aero 6mm creed barre
Trigger tech diamond
Krg bravo
Berger 105s H4350

At 1000 I’d be 4/10 for hits on 6 creed and 6.5 I’d be 9/10.

Wondering if anyone has ever had a barrel that just wants to be a 100 yard barrel lol

Always considering myself as the issue but I will also point out I swapped barrel on same action to 6.5 proof and was consistent with it, same targets same day etc

Swapped barrel back and still very inconsistent hits. Also tried 6 creed barrel on another action with no change.

Thanks for any advice

Night Vision Bare minimum Thermal scope and mono recommendation

It's the same old question I've been asked and see here asked ad nauseum, What thermal optic(s) would you recommend for someone on a budget ?
This is the golden age of thermal and while I don't like supporting foreign adversaries , the far east manufacturers are really putting out some great optics for every budget.
My answer to the budget optic recommendation is that affordable doesn't mean viable.
Low budget crappy optics are just that, Crap.
You can't see shit with them , they use internal or outdated battery power sources and the specs are terrible.
While I'm not sponsored by any manufacturer, I've been buying, testing and using budget thermal scopes and monocular's for use as back up and loaner optics to aid in predator elimination on several cattle farms, hunting preserves and small family farms in my area.
Real field use in varying weather conditions and with many different people of varying expertise using them.
Some who know how to use them and some who've never looked through or operated a thermal a second of their life.
My current backup scope and monocular are viable optics with bare minimum features and specs that will get the job done, use the same removable power source and are easy to operate.
Both have 5 years warranties, 384 Res , 50 Hz, 12um pixel pitch, sub 25 Mk with nice sized display screens.
These optics don't have crappy postage stamp sized display screens that are recessed in the eye piece.
You look into them and the image is right there.

Scope- Rix L3 384 resolution with Ocular zoom, removable 18650 battery, mounted in a quality QD mount -$2,300 shipped

Mono- AGM Seeker 15-384 with removable 18650 battery - $1,195 shipped

Both come with 2 batteries and chargers.

Both have a lot of features and the ability to shut those features off.

For under $3,500 you'll be able to spot & engage targets with confidence and rule the night.

There are other scopes and mono's that are cheaper, but they suck balls and your throwing your money down the drain if your not going to spend it on decent optics.
Your not going to get a new decent useable resolution thermal scope or mono for $500, so stop asking.
Same with 640 res optics.
Your going to have to sell a kidney or sell one of the kids if you want to go the 640 res route and maybe two kids if you want to buy American optics.

Please Tell Me My Eyes Are Deceiving Me

The good old YouTube algorithm brought up an internet gun fails video as I've watched several over the last year. This one is pretty typical moron-level shit.

However...please tell me that the guy shooting the frigging AK into the dirt next to the students isn't Rob Ski from the AK Operators Union and Vintage Rifle Shooters Club YouTube channels.😳

Maybe I'm seeing and hearing a doppelganger. I damn sure hope that I am.

Watch from the 6:35 to about the 7:40 mark.
