So I have an AI AT in the Vision chassis. The issue is my AT is a NON-folder so I cant use the vision stock assembly. My question is: do I have any other options besides buying an AW folding hinge from England for $600 shipped? I would really like to ditch the factory AT stock and use the vision. Any help would be appreciated.

Trying to understand the technical reasons 6mm Basher seems to be more accurate(popular) than 243 winchester?

Why?
They are so close to being the same cartridge?

Is it all default barrel twist?
Will a 243 with 1:7 or 1:8 be just as good as 6mm Dasher?

Are there additional reasons?

Does the 6 Dasher deal with long VLD bullets better?

Better rifling land engagement?

Alas a a newbe with a first post, if one wants to discuss multiple question better to do multiple posts, or one big multiquestion post?

These appear to be the same PTG fakes that we discussed last year. Unfortunately they are being sold a real M24 receivers.

This is my first competition and I’m trying to get some background info on it. Mike (from Altus) called it outlaw PRS. Anyone have anything to add.

Is anyone else using the Hornady Base Anvil Kit for the non-moving arm/jaw on their calipers? I read that some people were having issues with the anvil not fitting square on the calipers, but I thought that might be due to the Amazon knock-off products out there. I ordered one (on Amazon) that is supposed to be made by Hornady and it came in original Hornady packaging.

The issue is...it does not fit square. No matter what I do, I can't get it square. I even tried to install a small set screw into the opposite side of the anvil, to try and even out the anvil when lightly tightening the hand screw...but no luck. The purpose of this device was to SAVE time with measurements, by having a larger flat surface for the back of the case. I'm messing around with this thing even longer than I work to ensure the back of the case is flat on the jaws of the caliper.

Anyone else have this issue? Is this a quality issue, or am I doing something wrong. Hornady doesn't offer any instructions with the device, so I can't imagine there's a lot to getting it right.

Without the anvil, the comparator is square and flush with the jaws of the calipers.
