These appear to be the same PTG fakes that we discussed last year. Unfortunately they are being sold a real M24 receivers.

This is my first competition and I’m trying to get some background info on it. Mike (from Altus) called it outlaw PRS. Anyone have anything to add.

Is anyone else using the Hornady Base Anvil Kit for the non-moving arm/jaw on their calipers? I read that some people were having issues with the anvil not fitting square on the calipers, but I thought that might be due to the Amazon knock-off products out there. I ordered one (on Amazon) that is supposed to be made by Hornady and it came in original Hornady packaging.

The issue is...it does not fit square. No matter what I do, I can't get it square. I even tried to install a small set screw into the opposite side of the anvil, to try and even out the anvil when lightly tightening the hand screw...but no luck. The purpose of this device was to SAVE time with measurements, by having a larger flat surface for the back of the case. I'm messing around with this thing even longer than I work to ensure the back of the case is flat on the jaws of the caliper.

Anyone else have this issue? Is this a quality issue, or am I doing something wrong. Hornady doesn't offer any instructions with the device, so I can't imagine there's a lot to getting it right.

Without the anvil, the comparator is square and flush with the jaws of the calipers.

I just updated FW on my 901 and now the velocity of my gun profiles is all weirdly high and goes up instead of down as I change range. MV of the profile in this pic is 2865 and as I increase range, the velocity of this field keeps increasing. Any ideas? Nuc it all and start over or ??

The reason I listed the optic including the rings was in case It didn’t sell I wouldn’t have to re-mount the optic. I’m OCD when I mount a scope, it takes me a couple of hours, I use two levels, feeler gauges, Plumb Bob, torque wrench, and calipers to get everything perfectly level and centered. The feeler gauges assure I have the same gap on both sides of the rings. Using these methods I have never damaged the finish on an optic. With that being said, if you wanted to purchase the optic w/o the rings we can negotiate a price. Thanks

Used scope it tracks and returns to zero as it should. At 100 yards I hit 32 1/4” high when I dialed 9 mils. It works fine I just replaced it with a new mark4hd hoping for a little more clarity at distance. $600 shipped to your door. I still have the box and have scope coat to throw on it. Does not include rings. Glass is clean and clear.
