I'm using a krg whiskey 3 gen 6 chassis but I'm trying to build another rifle and looking at other chassis and stocks. I like my chassis no issues but looking at something else

Anyone run a COTI style unit on the ANVIS housing? Have seen a few older threads mention it may be possible but rotating objectives could cause issues. I don't usually refocus after I set focus to infinity so I don't think that would be an issue for me.

Just curious if you guys think it would be possible?

i know there are 2- rifle basix and timney. have seen + on timney and am sure it is fine. wondering if any one has used the basix or both.

I went to the range to try do a comparison between a recently received PTR Vent 2 and DA Mojave, but instead, I got caught up figuring out which host I liked more: a DIY CMMG radial delayed upper and a MEAN Arms upper. (Turns out, at least this trip, the CMMG...)

Anyway, I'm curious if anyone else has a small fan in their range bag? Ive found this one does a great job of cooling off a hot, just-used suppressor and so I don't have to wait as long to pack up.

I'm a big fan of Mark's rifles. I'm not a big fan of Mark. He's blocked me on every platform he's been on at least once.

My Large Frame Larues (OBRs and PredatOBRs) shoot stupid well. My PredatOBR is the last gas gun I'd sell. If this new MRGG is anything like the rest of my LaRues, it'll be an amazing rifle.

With that said . . . . I noticed some "spin". They say that the MRGG rifle was ". . . . submitted for use by SOCOM." Yeah. . . ok. But to my knowledge it wasn't picked up by them, so associating it with SOCOM seems a little . . . misleading.

This looks to incorporate the same type of torque wrench that was included with the siete instead of just a "manual" wrench that has come with the PredatOBRs.

In today's world, $4750 isn't a terrible price, but it's still a lot of cash for a rifle.

I think I'd be tempted to put an FDE A2 on it.

It also looks like Mark Fingar didn't do the photos. I'd bet about $50 that mark took all but the first one with his phone.

Does anyone measure bullet velocity at the target? Can this be done with a chronograph (assuming you don't actually hit the chronograph)? I would like to know how much velocity is in the bullet at the time of impact. I'd like to consider this data and at what distance the 6.5 Creedmoor is really falling below transonic speeds.

I've been browsing the forums for some time now and it helped me a lot, mostly regarding reloading equipment and technics.
I'd like to take part in these discussions, that's why I created an account here.

I'm a 28 y/o dude living in France, and I'm mostly into long range shooting, although I do shoot some handguns from time to time.
I started reloading 1 year ago now and I'm loving it. I'm equipped with a Forster Co-Ax and L.E Wilson FL sizing dies, among other things and I only reload .308W for now, developped a good load with 175 gr Lapua Scenar that can hold 0,16 MOA when I'm in shape.

Reloading 6,5 Creed and .338 LM is planning on a near future.

When it comes to rifles, I own a .22LR Victrix Venus PRO and a custom .308W (Nimrod action, Lothar Walther 26" 1:11 twist barrel, AICS AT + thumbhole kit).
I have a 200 meters range really close to home, a 600 meters range 1h away, and I shoot steel up to 1600 meters several time a years

My next big project is to buy an AI AXSR in 6,5 Creed and .338LM to have a "one rifle to do it all".
