SOLD Prefit Bartlein 6 creedmoor Barrel Bighorn

For sale Bartlein 6mm Creedmoor barrel 1:7.5tw 26” long 5/8x24 muzzle threads MTU Contour. Chambered from ALTUS Shooting Solutions. Prefit for short action Bighorn TL3, SR3, or Origin with HLR recoil lug. Barrel has exactly 1,200 rounds on it and still shoots 1/2moa or better to the day I pulled the barrel off on 12/1/24. I ran this barrel slow for its entire life. See pictures for more details. I posted pic of the 0.49” 5shot group because that was more realistic for what the gun does on average, rather than posting the .25-.4” groups. But I have pics of those too if you want.

2945 fps ES 12fps SD 6fps Berger 109 with H1000 (secret creedmoor powder) Should have plenty of life left in it especially with slow burning powder.

SAC - to mandrel or not?

Are people running the mandrel from SAC in their dies? If so what is the best way to determine size?

I currently only run custom Whidden bushing dies and no mandrel (I own mandrels for new brass) without any issues but since the SAC is one step I'm more open to the idea of running a mandrel but want to know what others are doing with their SAC dies in terms of mandrel vs no mandrel.

This is about SAC mandrels only. I'm running it in 7 PRC

Rifle Scopes DNT 7-35x56 Riflescopes

DNT 7-35x56 FFP Riflescope only $599.99

If you're looking for a quality scope without braking the bank then take a moment and check out this DNT 7-35x56 FFP Riflescope for only $599.99. We think there's nothing that compares to it near this price.

DNT's The One - DNT 7-35x56 FFP Riflescope is only $599.99 available in MRAD and MOA. This appears to be a mirror scope to the Arken EP-5 7-35x56 with a few interesting tweaks. The reticles are slightly different, with the DNT 7-35x56 FFP Riflescope having the illumination through the whole Elevation and Windage cross portion of the reticle vs the Arken EP-5 7-35x56 which is illuminated in only the center.

A few other differences are..... The Japanese extra low dispersion glass in the DNT Riflescope is optically superior, they've designed it with a 45-degree canted windage indicator so you can see where you're at without compromising your shooting position and also has a throw lever.

Crafted with hardened aircraft-grade aluminum and Japanese extra low dispersion glass. THE ONE scopes are the result of a collaboration of PRS and ELR shooters. Quick target acquisition and precise engagements with our improved 45-degree canted windage indicator.

Rimfire Modacam B14R BA

Thinning the herd to fund a new 6mm. Have my B14R done by Modacam. It has a 24” Kreiger barrel with a 1:16 twist with a 1.2” full barrel. The bolt has been polished, lift ramp contoured, and Crossroads Precision aftermarket parts. Will come with a Timney Hit currently set at 5.5oz but is adjustable obviously. None of the chassis are included but are shown as examples of how it fits in an ACC elite.

Will include 3 B14R mags. One standard, one with +2 L3I ext, and one with Hoz & Shield +5.

I actually got this rifle from Josh on Pursuit of Accuracy. It is a laser beam! The BA is the exact one shown in the video below;

MullerWorks Barrel Run out

I recorded this video after chambering another big name barrel in the premium barrel world that had quite a bit of run out. To be fair the other barrel shot exceptionally well and on par with what we have come to expect. The run out does not make a difference in how it shoots but makes my life easier when indicating a barrel in. Please forgive my attempt at humor in the video description.

US Optics?

Good morning all. I sent in a B25 for warranty service. It was received at the factory on October 15th. Prior to this, I had never had a problem with getting ahold of tech support or customer service by phone or by email. I always had a response withing 24hrs. They suggested a 4-5 week turn around for the repair. Its been 7 now and I have not been able to get ahold of anyone, by phone or by email. Has anyone heard anything about the company in general recently?

Hey fellas, not exactly a sniper rifle but looking for some M1 Garand help if you have the experience...

1733386712253.jpeg

Over the past 2 years or so I acquired a couple of Garands from the CMP, all "expert grade". The one that I've been fooling around with is an IHC (depicted above) but I've been having some challenges getting it to feed properly.

I'm using newly manufactured enbloc clips that I purchased from ammogarand.com, and have used Garand specific factory ammunition to replicate the M2 ball ammunition from Federal, S&B, & Winchester and keep running into the same feeding problems.

The "expert grade" M1 Garand from the CMP is supposed to be pretty much gtg, new stock, new barrel, etc. but I've got to say this rifle is just giving me a world of issues to get it to feed properly and I don't think I've ever gotten a proper 'ping' from it yet after... 150-200 rounds by my estimate.

I've been trying to research this phenomenon and all of the suggestions seem to point to a weak ejector spring but as far as I can tell, the spring seems to be practically brand new and working properly.

The rifle is also properly greased (using Moblie 1 Synthetic in case anyone would care to ask) but I'm still not getting that desired ping/proper function from this particular rifle. So I'm reaching out to the experts here on how to get this warhorse back in the fight...

Could it be that all of the newly manufactured Enbloc clips are what's giving me fits or is there something incredibly basic/obvious that I'm just missing?

SOLD 1000 Berger 215 Hybrid Target Bullets

Have 1000 215 Berger Hybrid Target Bullets for sale. Original boxes were thrown away because I OAL sorted all of them into waterproof storage containers. Saved the LOT# sticker from the boxes though.

I will package the bullets in zip locks keeping them sorted and then put into a box with stuffing and ship USPS flat rate if doable.

Reason for selling is I decided to go with a different bullet for this barrel for hunting purposes.

Memories of Holsters past, current and future...

1733376608428.png

I was in a discussion on another forum about how holsters tend to... accumulate I'll say. Anyway curiosity got the best of me and I pulled the G19 sized holsters out of one (and just one of the boxes/for one of the models) to illustrate the point. Surely I'm not the only one with this affliction chasing after the next "best" holster.

I might not be able to name them all but I'll try- from top to bottom/left to right let's give it a shot...

Top Row: Crossbreed Supertuck (one of the few cow leather options I have from them) & a Galco "Jackass" shoulder holster

2nd Row: Kramer horsehide IWB, a local kydex manufacturer (no longer in business) IWB, Simply Rugged Pancake, & Bianchi paddle holster of some sort.

3rd Row: Fairly sure that's a Bladetech IWB, a Raven Concealment Perun, another Bianchi model "Yaqui style", Another Bianchi (maybe a "soft tuck") and oddly enough, yet another Bianchi...

4th Row: Kirkpatrick "under cover", DeSantis something or another IWB, and a Raven Concealment Phantom...

So there's 14 there and just out of one box and for one model... I might have a problem and not even going to go through the other boxes to see what else I may have in "inventory". Anyone else have a similar problem?
