Replacement Hoyt DFX cams

Since Hoyt doesn’t offer replacement cams for their top of the line bows from 7 years ago, I’m wondering if anyone is aware of any copies being produced?
Also kinda curious how much demand there is for them. If there are a bunch of guys out there with $2000 bows they have to throw in the garbage because they can’t get cams, I bet a company could make some money producing replacements.

Anyone have some 2017 30” Carbon Defiant #1 cams they want to sell?

SOLD Tangent 5-25 PM Gen3XR Coyote Brown

Mounted but not used. Comes with box, papers, scope covers. In excellent condition. Will come with Badger Condition One 34mm 1.54" 20 MOA cant mount.

$4600 or trade for FDE ZCO 527 with MPCT3 or MPCT3X reticle and cash.

Would also consider thermal optics as trade. Trade value on thermal will be closer to MSRP of the scope.

Hello from Wisconsin

Hey all, glad to be here. Longtime lurker/stealer of technical info. Former member of another forum until it took a hard left turn.

About me, I love shooting and TRY to get out to the range at least once every other week, but with 2 kids in sports it gets to be a difficult task. I take least one firearms related class a year to try and keep my skills sharp.

Other than that, I’m just a boring dude from Wisconsin that is a Christian, father to two girls, and a husband.

Spotters Vortex Fury HD 5000 questions… Also AB model $999 currently from Scheels

I bought these on a whim. The AB version is $999 currently at scheels. Free shipping

I primarily shoot deer out to 800 yards on crop damage tags for farms. I’m hoping this is a simple solution to do away with using my phone, kestrel 3500 and rangefinder independently

Currently use a Leica 2800.

I’ve been looking at going this route for a while just to simplify things. Especially when deer are really moving and your swapping front, back, left right etc.

Realistically I’m hoping to range deer 800-1000 yards. Steel to say 1500

What sold me on these was the current price, AB elite, non blue tint for hunting and most of all the vortex warranty on an electronic that’s going to be used a lot.

Hoping I made the right choice 😁

My last vortex products were PST scopes which spent most of their life in boxes heading to the warranty department

My questions

Just curious as to the ranging capabilities of these fury 5000’s vs something like a Leica 2800.

What is the common distance I should expect to reliably range a white tail deer at with these?

Split in Savage Bolt Firing Pin Washer

Hi all -

I was looking at my bolt the other day and I noticed it looked like one of the the springs was broken. I took the bolt apart and found the spring wasn't broken, but the firing pin washer appears to be a split washer, or it is broken. I can't find online pics of the savage washer, in high enough resolution to determine if the washer is supposed to have a split in it, or if mine is broken. Can someone help with this information?

Looks like this 3 piece spring system was a recent change for Savage, to fix issues with their single spring version.
