What's the most budget, Bang for Buck, no frills afterwards Barrel and stock combo for a 10/22?

I've got 3 10/22s. Never considered them more than a plinker as the accuracy is sketchy.
At least, not where I can trust them for a head shot on a squirrel @30yds like I can with my CZs.

That in mind, if I have them, I want one of them accurate/consist enough for squirrels.

Not wanting a head to tail build, just the meat and potatoes of a decent bbl, and a stock to accomidate it. No carbon, no fluting. Possibly threaded so I can run a can.

Whatcha got?

  • Poll
Help Me Decide on Next Scope (K624i vs Leica PRS vs Razor GenIII)

Which Would you Choose and Why?

  • Kahles K624i 6-24x56mm (SKMR4)

    Votes: 12 31.6%
  • Leica PRS 5-30x56mm (Illum L-PRB)

    Votes: 5 13.2%
  • Vortex Razor HD Gen III 6-36x56 (EBR-7D)

    Votes: 21 55.3%

Would like some feedback from those who've owned and used more than one of these scopes.

Intended Use: Long Range Varmint Hunting, Very few PRS style competitions

I can get very similar pricing on all 3 options; its close enough to make no difference for me. To me the important performance metrics are: 1) Tracking Accuracy and 2) Optical Performance. Small critters at long distance can be difficult to see.

Let me know which option you would choose and why!

Weird first shot inconsistency with can

Im posting here as a last resort to see if anyone has an explanation for this odd behavior. I have a 308 scar 17 that has been a good reliable 1" gun for a long time. I recently added a sandman S, and my groups actually improved to a consistent .8-.9 which is great for a scar, but the first round cold shot is now exactly 5" to the left consistently. The second shot and all subsequent shots will be exactly on my zero until i pause long enough for everything to cool down. I suspect its something to do with the atmospheric change inside the can after the first shot, since it only ever takes 1 round to fix, and doesnt "walk in" to my zero over a series of shots.

I checked concentricity with a rod and bore scoped the can. I've rechecked torque on everything. I rarely ever clean, but i went ahead and did that just to see if it would change anything. The scope is a nightforce and i moved it to another rifle to make sure its not broken somehow. I also repeated this 5 times over the course of the day yesterday by just letting the gun sit a while, so its not a jumpy shooter problem.

At this point all i can do is ditch the can, but that's a bit of a bummer so hopefully there's something I'm not thinking of that's correctable. Thanks for any suggestions.

Govt Price Setting

Seems Kammys commie side is beginning to come out during the day.One of her "ideas" is to have the government regulate pricing that private businesses are allowed to charge consumers.Sounds like she is getting economic advice from North Korea. She states prices are high from greed and price gouging and she can fix that. Her and her diaper wearing pedophile partner caused it.
