Impact Scoring

I am the co-creator of Impact Scoring, a new scoring app tailored specifically for PRS, NRL, and precision rifle competitions. We recently launched the first public version and successfully used it at the PRS Pro Series Sharpshooter Showdown over the weekend. Our goal is for this app to become the standard in our sport, whether you're participating in a Pro Series match or simply scoring a friendly competition in your backyard or local range.

Version 1.1, our base app, is now available, and we have an exciting array of features planned for the coming weeks, months, and year. Users can register for matches directly through our app, or they can continue to use their Practiscore registrations and upload via .CSV. There's no need to synchronize between computers, tablets, and phones; All our devices automatically talk to eachother: IE you build your match out on the website (you can do it from a tablet still) it will auto upload to your tablet or phone. You can run a match entirely from a cell phone, making it accessible for smaller clubs. However, if you prefer, the app is also available for tablets on Amazon, iOS, and Google Play stores.

Scoring is live, provided you have LAN, Wi-Fi, or cell service. If connectivity is lost, the app will keep scoring live between devices, and once service is restored, it will automatically upload. Creating matches is now much easier, and we have some exciting new features in the pipeline. Match flow is simplified for the ROs, with clear target orders and "move" lines indicating when a shooter needs to transition between shots for better sequencing.

This weekend alone, our app attracted 27,000 viewers for live scoring during matches, and we believe it offers the alternative many of us have been seeking for years. If you have any questions or suggestions for features, please feel free to share them here. We have ambitious plans for Impact Scoring, and we envision it as the solution that competitive precision rifle shooting has been waiting for!

Or find it on any of the 3 major app stores

Precision Rifle Gear Is the Garmin Xero still the Whiz Bang Chrono to get? Is there a new(er) model coming this year?

Yes I saw the 56 page thread on the Garmin.

Going to replace the Labradar. Is the Garmin Xero still the best replacement? I see Labradar has a new smaller unit out also. Any comparison?
I want easy to use, not spend range time reading manuals at the range trying to get something to work.

My luck is normally a newer model comes out around Thanksgiving for Christmas sales. Any Rumors on this?

Who is the best source for a unit? Any SH vendors?

Thanks

ADM vs LMT

First time posting on here sos correct me if I am doing something wrong. Looking to get a 16in ar15 to run suppressed with a 1-10 optic, would like this to be my longer range 5.56 gun. Currently narrowed down to the LMT MARS L MRP or the AMD UIC MOD-2. (Ik brands like JP and LWRCI are good for what I want just don't like the tube rails.) What is yalls opinion on these two options or any other suggestions?

6 ARC Gas port erosion

I have a 22” Bartlein 6mm ARC AR. It is a rifle +2 gas system. I purchased the barrel and bolt from Precision Machine in WV. I have about 400 rnds through the barrel and get mediocre accuracy. The port fell on a land and it’s giving serious erosion issues. I believe that it is so bad that I am getting bullet deformation. I post here to have some experts give their opinions, maybe I don’t have an issue, please help me decide. I chose 6ARC for a precision auto loader build due to its resemblance to my 6BRN and PPC cartridges. I will post a picture of the build and some development targets shot at 100m. And some borescope photos. I appreciate you gentlemen and your knowledge. Thanks for your time.

New member. Hello All 👋

I'm a new member from Phoenix Arizona. I added to my profile my political leaning but I have no intention of getting into any political discussions on here.

I love shooting and reloading and I hope to be able to use this site for conversation, learning and exchanging ideas and information. I have a pretty serious reloading room in my house and I would like to get into some rifle and pistol competitions in arizona.

Nice to meet everyone and introduce myself. I hope this site can be a positive.

Port strike coming… not going to be good!

The MSM has been specifically. It talking about this… and IMHO if going to find a way to blame it on Trump!

October Surprise might well be product shortages… gas shortages… all kinds of lovely disruptions including layoffs and work stops at factories they cannot get parts.

Just saying… make sure you have plenty of “everything”
