I figured you guys would get as big as a kick out of this as I do. I built my 8.6BLK a couple months ago, and have been waiting for the Porq Chop I ordered to get out of paperwork jail, which it finally did last weekend.

So the basics: Aero stripped upper and lower, 12” Faxon barrel, SLR handguard, ambi controls, TriggerTech single stage 3lb drop in trigger, Magpul grip and vertical grip, Aero BCG, Radian charging handle, Super 42 spring with Odin adjustable weight, SOPMOD (SBR’ed of course), Cherry Bomb muzzle device, Arken Optics 1-8 LPVO.

I mounted the can onto the rifle and realized something was missing. I have the Sylvan Arms folding stock adapter on all my AR15s, and since the buffer tube on an AR10 is the same size as an AR15’s, I figured, why the hell not? Ordered one, it got delivered Monday afternoon, threw it on Monday night. Now with the can and folding stock adapter, I am really loving this build. It’s a bit heavy (I’m guessing somewhere between 10lbs and 12lbs), but I’ve replaced my 12.5” 5.56 SBR with my 8.6 as the rifle I keep in my go bag.

I had some Magpul flip up backup sights, but didn’t like them, and threw those 45° flip up sights on it tonight, but I’m not really liking those either, so those may come off. If they do, I may just get a 45° mount and throw a red dot on it.

Hey guys, I've been looking at this site for a while now, and have seen lots of helpful posts and what not. I am starting this thread in the hopes that you guys could give some advise for the best, first rifle. I want a tactical look, but accuracy is my main concern. Here's the catch, I'm a student on a tight budget, 500$ to be exact. Later on I would most likely upgrade the barrel and trigger, once I have another job. Any advice would be great.

Just ordered a 18” 6.8spc barrel for my origin and now need glass for it. Will be used for East Texas hog hunting and be the gun that bounces around in the truck and SXS. We don’t have any place on the property we can hunt with shots farther than 200 yards. Below is my criteria.

Lower zoom to get bigger field of view. Something like a 2-10???? A 1-6 would be awesome but those seem to struggle when it starts to get dark.

Illuminated reticle.

Good glass to help pick out those black hogs at dusk and dawn.

Lightish weight. Don’t want a 30 oz scope on this one.

Doesn’t have to be ffp or exposed turrets and don’t care if it’s mil or moa.

Then every single day I go to log-in to check Email, and I am forced by Yahoo to change Passwords, and then after that having a Text Message Code verification number sent to my Cell #, and then check re-accepting Yahoo service terms of agreement just to start each day. Then my normal Pay On-line-billing done here, I only do a few like Utilities, my internet service ..etc also are fuckedup and suddenly not recognizing my Email Addy. . Also WTF is this fucking website containing Zero substance, I really never paid much attention to Yahoo till now being forced to but it's Web Cover Page is just political propaganda with a mix of mindless Jerry Spinger style of Pop Culture puke, and Clik Bait .

Great optic, I just don’t really use the rifle it was on a ton and can use the cash. Great condition, no ring marks, some slight marring on the slots on turrets, and one blemish in front glass (have never noticed any affect from this). Sunshade was chopped shorter, but aside from the shiny ass bare metal I actually kind of dig the shorter length.
