Just got my MC tactical udder from @Fred @ Bison Tactical and it has already exceeded my expectations. Through it on a shitty old step ladder in my reloading room to dry fire out the window a bit. I let it set for a while and decided it was stable enough to leave $7,500+ sitting on it while I went to grab my phone.

The top rail is u-shaped and round. 18+ lbs. rifle and scope balanced no problem. Can’t wait to try it out this weekend at the range and a match towards the end of the month.

I switched over to the Udder from the original GC and really like the versatility of it better. It really shines on barrels, tanks, and bigger objects my GC couldn't fit over. I recently bought the pint size GC and between the 2 I think I'm set for just about any positional stages.

I know you're not happy with your ES, but don't shoot your reloading gear!

:ROFLMAO: it was 10.0 even last 15 round string. A hair over and it's a goner.

good to hear you like it. I've been eyeballing the one with the arca clamp built into it. that would be super handy

I actually read a little about that feature while I was trying to decide. For me and the relatively short Arca rail I have via the RRS plate, I couldn't see the benefit. I've also seen a few guys make the point that you're kind of limited when it's clamped on. Granted you can unclamp it and it's basically a normal bag again, but the extra time fiddling with it may not be worth it. If you had a MPA with the full 'rat' Arca rail or similar it may be different.

yeah I was trying to imagine where it might not be handy and over to adapt. i have an 11" arca rail on my chassis so i have a lot of freedom in that aspect. still not set on it yet. would love to try one first

HRD Gear makes a great full length 1.5" Dove tail for your chasis (UAFN-AI).. You can loose the finicky spigot as the rail will extend the same, but using the RRS BTC-PRO or SC-LR you bipod retains QR pic mount but also can mount to the 1.5" dovetail. Lets you super quickly move the bipod into any position. You can then slide it in front of your bag to help a tad with recoil on a wonky support.

Thanks for the great feedback guys ! Love the pictures of the bag, and once it gets a bit more broken in the bag will be even better!

On the ARCA rails - the HRD Gear is a great one - its also pretty stiff which is good when you consider it might by only attached in a couple of place, and have some overhang on the end of the stock (like the 11").

HRD also makes the clamp which is really nice as well.

The clamp has a quick-detatch button which allows you to remove the main part of the clamp leaving just a small base ring on the bag. That helps if you want to remove the clamp and say run the Tactical Udder as a rear bag. This same feature also allows the clamp to pan left/right. This helps if your on a barricade and you transition between targets and want to reduce binding on the bags surface. This feature seems pretty unique to the HRD ARCA clamp as far as I know. Most other clamps seem rigidly attached to the bag surface, so the only panning you get is by putting stress on the bags surface fabric...

Where was this club match at I’m from ky and looking for places to shoot

So far all the testing on the attachment of the ARCA clamp to the Tactical Udder has been positive! I am now re-opening orders for the Tactical Udders with HRD Gear ARCA clamp. I have a few in stock, with the clamps, there might be a delay before more clamps become available so be patient if you want one, and they are not available.

Thanks - I wanted to do a limited market release of the bag initially to verify there were no issues with hard use of the connection between the clamp and the bag. The limited market release went well and no users reported any issues even after extensive use. Because of this and the testing I did, I feel confident that the attachment of the clamp to the bag is solid and should provide long term service with low failure rates!

Bison gave us a Udder to demo at our local PRS matches. It works beyond awesome. No matter what barricade or obstacle I put out for our shooters, the Udder is able to help provide a steady rest.

And... the crew at Bison are shooters that use what they sell. Cant hate that.

It’s not often (actually never before for me) a shop owner calls a customer letting him know an item has shipped, but thats exactly what happened to me today. Fred called just to let me know that the tactical udder has shipped and asked if I would let him know how it works for me; says he ‘s always seeking feedback to improve his product.

Haven’t even seen the Udder yet, but I’m already impressed.

I just ordered my Tactical Udder this week. Looking forward to receiving it next week. I called expecting just to order that. Had a very informative phone call - ended up with a few other items added as well. Great service!

Yes, the Fat Boy is the new bag - and available and ready to ship!

Any chance you could post a few pics using em as a rear bag? The way our range on the islands is setup always frustrates me and requires me to use a bigger bag just to be comfortable probe. Thanks brotha.

I normally don't use it as a rear bag, but after getting calls from guys who do I added that bit of info about it in the product description. From what I have heard they are flipping it upside down when they shoot and use the legs to stabalize the rear of the stock.
