Apparently, in 'tard world you can wander around and find sunlight to power your radio and in a few hours you can have enough juice to call for help. Help will of course arrive as soon as their Tesla truck charges up enough to go 45 miles/ 30 when loaded with a squad of guys.
To power the expeditionary air base I was at during the Iraq War when staffed with over 900 people and operating a pax and cargo terminal, hospital and DFAC required almost 600KW in 125 degree heat on a typical windless Iraqi summer day. This would require nearly 100,000 sq ft of solar panels weighing 600,000 pounds plus tens of thousands of pounds of auxiliary equipment and be the greatest rocket and mortar target ever created. Or since the average wind turbine runs at 1/8th rated power, we would need 6 to 8, 1.5mw wind turbines that stand over 200 ft tall located around our airbase and creating a flying hazard, essentially turning the air base into a death funnel for planes and helicopters who could only enter or exit the area in certain directions.
