I commend him for speaking up as all of us should be doing in a professional manner but I fear the fuse has been lit and it will open the door for further interference from foreign/ socialist/ communist countries and their puppets (democrats/liberals) to bring the US into a land of small conflicts as we see in most socialist/ communist countries. The ONLY thing preventing that at this time IS the 2A. Once America is disarmed they will show their true hatred which YES...will be worse than what we are seeing now.
We should be funneling as much financial, logistical and material support to our pro-2A brothers and sisters in Virginia as we can individually and collectively muster.
I liken this effort to the US support of the Muhjadeen in Afghanistan back in the 80s...Soviets weren’t defeated in the traditional sense but they were pushed out and never returned (ignore the state Afghanistan devolved into subsequent for the purposes of this analogy).

The sad part is that because of the way he was cutoff the panel had no interest in what he had to say. It was also telling that the cheers from the room were fully invested in what he said. I agree with @Tazman that I am afraid the fuse has been lit and someone is just waiting for an excuse to take action, whether it be the government or the citizenry.

Room was packed with 2A supporters who sat quietly for 3.5 hours listening to an argument over the lighting on one softball field before the Chairman finally allowed 5 people to speak for only 3 minutes each about 2A Sanctuary during the quarterly "open comment" period. I don't have a link yet to the 1st person who spoke, but he was very good also.

It looks as though what happens in Virginia is going to send a riptide into the rest of the Union. As the man stated it's not only the unconstitutional gun laws. Everything is at a boiling point, corruption, taxes, the fed, state and local entities trampling all over every aspect of our lives.

For reference the Fairfax Board of Supervisors now has 9 Democrats and only 1 Republican left (Pat Herrity) after the election a few weeks ago. It was 8-2. As a result it is highly unlikely they will ever even consider a 2A sanctuary motion.

Here's the problem if no one has figured it out yet. First the "open comment period" is there for you to feel good, and "get it off your chest". Most people get thrown the bone of the "open comment period", which allows them to limit you to the three minutes. If you REALLY want to be heard you have to petition to have the discussion added to the meeting as a topic. Force the issue, force them to make it a topic/part of the meeting, THEN you get more time to talk and can hold them responsible. Learn how these "meetings" work, use it against them.
Bumping this back to top in case anyone hasnt seen it. I was shocked at Thanksgiving. My family is very right and very pro2A. Most are news junkies. None are from VA. I asked what they thought about VA and all I got was blank looks- I had to fill them in. If you arent on the E.Coast or on the gun forums, youtube channels, etc. apparently the word isnt getting out.
