You have a point. I’d say it’s probably one of the last few industries where we have a chance to keep the CCP from taking over.

I will say that it’s hard to source it all.

If I want to make a box with fasteners, I have to source the following US or non commie items:

Saw
Saw blade
Wrenches for adjustment
Planer
Jointer
Drill
Drill bits
Sander
Sand paper
Wood glue
Fasteners
Screw drivers
Measuring tape
Squares

That’s with power tools

With hand tools:
Saw
Hand planes
Router plane
Wood working vise
Brace
Drill bits
Screw drivers
Chisels
Tape measure
Squares
Wood glue
Fasteners
Sand paper

Now look at cost difference between a Saw Stop and a foreign job.

Look at the cost difference between a Martin jointer and a foreign job

Look at the price difference in hand planes. A Lie Nielsen 5 1/2 jack plane will buy the inventory of shitty Chinese hand planes at lowes.

One Lie Nielsen chisel will buy 7 sets of big box chisels.

So look at the investment in tools to make a simple wood box using all American or non commie shit. Then add in the hours of time.

So I get it why people do buy foreign. Some have a hard time making ends meet.
So your kids won't.

I should probably explain myself better. There's an old proverb that goes "if there's trouble, I hope it happens in my time, so my children don't have to deal with it". Hopefully, our kids won't have to decide between cheap chicom shit, and domestically produced products that somebody took pride in.

I agree.

It’s a pretty shitty situation. Chinese undercut our prices with slave labor, or extremely low paid labor. Minimal environmental controls as well. So they can sell cheap here.

Wages in the U.S. are low, but not too many complain because they can still buy stuff made by their direct competitors. Which keeps their competitors in business, so they can buy more shit.

Weird.

Someone is reporting their gofundme refund is less than what they sent:

one would think, that liberal shit-dick would have bigger fish to fry with his police department executing a black man sleeping on a couch and all. but then again, i guess it’s a win/win for him; distracting attention away from the other nightmare. scumbag.

nail them to the cross.

Looks like GoFundMe is keeping their 1.55% transaction fee.

I'm less worried my grandkids will be buying cheap Chinese shit than being ruled by the Chinese dictatorship here in the US that are ramping up to steal a second election.

The RINOs and limp dicks should be reminded in the primaries that the alternative to fighting for the people and the constitution is not a cushy, taxpayer funded seat in the "opposition" but them being out of a job.

Once again, who do they serve ? The political class, that's who!
Paid Political muscle . How many times does that lesson have to be taught?
"Just doing as I was told" seems to be the same excuse all executors of the political elite use - and most of the time these elite become or are dictators. How many Nazis were "I was just doing as I was told?"

These nazi cunts will be remembered for which side of history they stood on and I hope they find no shelter or protection. Doxx all of them and let the cards fall where they may.
