Spent my HS years under a 1959 just like this. PITA to get parts for even WAY back then, '69/70.
I can 100% guarantee it would be better than anything they could come up with for a sequel.
Got one better. Announce a sequel, do enough filming to make it seem like a real sequel, and then have it switch back to the original after the first repeating day. The opening night would be hilarious.

Was the U.S. oil production voluntarily reduced during COVID because of travel restrictions worldwide?
