If you see the 63 black Cobra, 100% original, it belongs to a friend of mine.
All right, a movie that was designed and filmed for pure 90s style badassery and full velocity action might not be the kind to make a viewer teary eyed... But watching THIS one did...
BATTLESHIP (2012). Yes, you are seeing the REAL U.S.S. Missouri under full steam. And yes, these crewmen are REAL US Navy veterans spanning a period of decades who had served aboard this steel behemoth in various theaters of the 20th century... And the guy who took on the alien in hand to hand combat is a REAL Army combat veteran who overcame debilitating injuries from the battlefield... Just those facts alone makes this movie far more solemn and somber than the purely action piece it was originally meant to be.
And last but not least, a cameo appearance by no other than singer Rihanna as a gunnery officer. A singer who has covered almost EVERY known genre, starting out her career with traditional dance and club tunes from her native Barbados, into hip hop and R&B, rock, and trance/space trance...
