So when you put a wrench on a rusty bolt and pull, there’s no rotational force until it moves?
The more effort it takes to turn, the more you have *unknowingly* turned it.
Do you actually think nothing is moving ?
Stupid people.
Your arm is moving, the wrench is flexing, the bolt head is distorting.
Everything is moving, it's just *YOU* do not realize it.
There would be some transient moments at first but you can’t really think the force ceases after it has settled into a statics problem. You’re still applying rotational force. The bolt is all applying an opposite rotational force resulting in no movement.
Q1) If your weight is measured in pounds (or Newtons across the pond) and your mass is measured in Slugs (or Kg across the pond) and force *is* measured in pounds or newtons, does your scale show 0 if your not moving while weighing yourself?
