On another note, after these farmer and truck and fisherman protests, I wonder how long these industries will continue in the private sector. Something has me feeling they will deem these industries "critical infrastructure" and use the protests as a means for more control.

My wife has a successful salon, which was forced to shut down for 6 weeks during the lockdowns. She got a little over $3000 in funds, which wasn’t even close to the income lost during that period. We had to provide tax documents, business license, etc. for her to even be able to apply. There were apparently some banks that were loose with the applications and folks were claiming big money and getting it. Every hood rat in town claimed to have a business, literally thousands of them.
