Nucleus or Archimedes would be my choice. As good as the Tikka is, the aftermarket support for the Rem 700 clone market is too good to ignore. YMMV

What rear action wrench are you using?

I used the SAC to install the new barrel. To take off the factory, I used a modified Wheeler #1.

Did just that. Sold my CTR stock, bottom metal and mag for $250 brought me to $700 on a stainless barreled action. Pretty Hard to beat

Had it listed in the PX for $175 and on eBay for $275 plus the ride since that’s what the other 2 on there were listed at. Had an offer of $265 and took it. I would have sold it for $125 on here if I had an offer.
