I’ve searched high and low for load data using N140 for the 6 ARC. Does anyone have some Quickload data on it using necked down Lapua Brass, BR-4s and Berger 108 BTT’s?

I’ve got several pounds of N140 and I’m pretty sure it would be a good powder for the ARC but I don’t know where to start. I’ve been using 2000MR with mixed results. The temperature sensitivity swings have been enormous in my gun. Looking for a little more consistency.

Thanks…..JB

Using a 22" barrel

You'll get more velocity out of N540, but your barrel will stay cool longer with N140 (it's what I'm planning to use in an upcoming 6ARC build).

I don't have my book on me but I get mid 2900s with 29ish gr in a 24" barrel and N140. Berger 95 VLDs.
The 105 VLDs we're in the upper 2600s but I didn't have much load development time with them and was over gassed bad at the time.

I didn't really answer your question but it's definitely consistent and stable from what I've seen in the gulf south.

I've taken it out there a couple times. After 800 there is a big drop and 1100/1200 there is a huge drop. Again can't remember offhand but the drops were quite a bit off from what AB was predicting on the line.
That was with the 105s going slow as hell. I only took the 95s out that far once and no solid dope. Scope tracking went to shit and spotter walked me in at a Guardian match.

Found my data....
29.6. ( Mild crunch)
Lapua Grendel brass
0.20 jump.
More jump was a bit better but more compression
2957. 45f. 25' asl.

I have more info on the 105 VLDs but that's apples to oranges from the 108 btt I would imagine
