I have a T3x TACT A1 in 6.5CM, a SPHUR SP-4602 (20.6 MOA) base, and a Nightforce 5-25x56 FFP scope. (pictured)

If I understand correctly, since my existing base has 6mrad of angle or tilt, this means that a scope with a total elevation travel of 29mrads, with half being upward (14.5), would give me 20.5mrad of elevation adjustment, which would be just under what I need to get out to a mile at my elevation.

I purchased a Nightforce 7-35x56 FFP and would like to replace the SPHUR with something that will give me the additional elevation.

Does anyone have a recommendation on how best to accomplish this?

I currently have the 6MIL/20.6 MOA - Height: 1.5" Picatinny Scope Mount SP-4602 and was looking at the 13 MIL/44,4 MOA Height: 1.5" Picatinny Scope Mount SP-4803B and also the era tac mounts but am unsure of the best approach.

I know I need enough room to clear the 56mm objective lens, and I am sure there are other things I am overlooking. Will I have issues with the cheek weld?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

I hear the NF 7-35 usually have more than 29 MRAD, so if you want a 100 yard zero, you need 9mrad in your mount or rings to go with your 6 MRAD base
Era tac are great if you want a 100 yard zero with the ability to have an 800 yard zero for example. That keeps you more toward the center of the elevation adjustment and away from any aberration near the edge of the glass, not that I'm saying NF glass isn't excellent. Those 7-35 are supposed to be amazing.

I've always went Spuhr... 4902 would match well with your 6 MRAD base but my next mount will be ARC MBRACE. The look great.

True. I can verify this statement. The NF does get more mileage.

I have a NF 7-35x Mil-C in a SP-4002 (1.5in, 0 MOA). The long action Fuzion has 30 MOA rail (3 mils).

That would suggest 14.5 mils + 8.7 mils = 23.2 mills, but I can dial up to 26.5 mils with my 100 yard zero. The same setup on my SB and even my ZCO was less....IIRC ~24 mils.

Not sure if you have verified your actual available up adjustment after you zero or going by calculations.

I generally never get exactly 1/2 of the travel. My NF 7-35 is capable of 30.6 mil of travel but I chew up 1.3 mils as part of the zero process so what I have left over is 14 mils of up adjustment. I have a 20 MOA rail on my AT so I have a total of 20 mils of up adjustment. I use ARC rings (1.5") which provide no further cant.

Hornady 140 ELDM require about 27 mils to reach a mile but I haven't verified that. Not saying it can't be done but I would certainly plan a couple of mils in reserve. I switch over to my AXMC in 338LM when shooting beyond 1,200 yards.

Everything I use (Spuhr, ERA, ARC) are all 1.5" high.

YMMV

Thanks for the replies.

I did a bunch of research and spoke with a couple of retailers, and as it turns out, a company in the next county over makes exactly what I needed, at least in theory.

I went to their shop and tried out the RTM60, which is a 0 - 60MRAD adjustable scope mount for fit. I have not tried to shoot with it yet but plan to this weekend.

Those Ivey bases are a nice piece of kit. My only issue is with a long barrel you start to look at your barrel or you need a really tall base.
