Is something going on in Ukraine?

I see little difference between Russia's concerns now and our concerns back then. But for people who think that aggression is "bad when they do it but okay when we do it", I don't expect much introspection.

With those 300,000 new draftees, where will the Russians get the rifles? Maybe they will need to get the old M91s out of storage or they can use the old tried-and-true tactics of wave attacks where the second wave pick the rifles off the dead on the first wave.
From the Afgans! They are the Walmart of weapons.

I believe the quote to this picture is - 'Did Medvedev give you my message'?
"after my election I have more flexibility."

Medvedev replied that he would "transmit this information to Vladimir," as in Putin, the current president who was prime minister at the time.

Interesting

one of the ruling government minions fleeing the west to live in the former USSR.
ironic, on the surface.

but understandable if you know how the undercurrents of power operate, and the goals of the players who draw up the long plan.

Once, the USSR was set forward by "these people" to be the catalyst and mechanism that brought universal socialist conformity to the world, because total homogeneity with no sense of comparison was how they would achieve the great goal that they had in mind for mankind. Due to their messianic complex, these people felt their "vision" (or nightmare, IMO) was how mankind would achieve salvation from itself.

But then years went by and stagnation occurred. These same powerbrokers decided that the USSR was not fulfilling it's task in an effectively compelling manner, and it's methods had lost their glamor and become transparently repulsive. No "progress" was being made. Instead of eager converts, the USSR's ham handedness provoked a countercurrent of intellectual and cultural resistance. The world's masses had to be fooled again.

So the USSR was broken and removed from the forefront. In it's place, a new Order stepped up, to bring about the universal hegemony that "these people" demanded. But this time, their tyranny would be convincing and popular; and instead of feeling compelled to obey, the average narcissistic fool would be made to feel that it was their own their "free thinking" which was achieving a better world. And this new order would maintain the fanatical, demi-religious fervor that marked the early Soviet era, through universal propaganda and control of all the gateways of information. This time, through information and omniscient technology, all opposition everywhere would be controlled or eliminated, and almost everyone (not just the select few party apparatchiks) would be made to buy into the lie. This new order is what the USSR tried to be, but failed. And it will be far worse because it will become truly universal, with no counterbalance to it's complete power as it becomes utterly corrupt and evil.

Snowden warned us that it is the 'good guys' who are watching, listening, and plotting toward this end game. Most people still don't have their head wrapped around that, yet.

It will not and they will fail. It will be pricey and US citizens will experience what Russians did in 1917 albeit in different form. But eventually good will prevail and those would be masters will be completely exposed and dealt with. They can feel it already (thats why the rush and unmasking in last few years) and they are starting to panic.

Seriously ?
And everyone joins hands and walks into the sunset, smiles and laughter all around ?

Sorry.
Hollywood is one of the evils, always has been, and until their demise, always will be.

BTW, those alleged "masters" ?
They have already been exposed, have been for quite some time.
With society so divided very little will be done until something world shattering happens to open those currently closed eyes.
It's going to take more than sabre rattling.....from any side.

Yeah, USA after 2020 can’t harpe on anyone about election corruption.

No doubt after all the fighting in Eastern Europe there are likely very few pro Ukrainians in the 4 oblasts recently absorbed into Russia. Those who are, likely under duress not to speak up, given its still a war zone, most likely fled if they could.

That being said these regions have been ethically Russian and Russian speaking before the Euro maiden coup. Given a choice before 2014, I bet they would side with Russia over Ukraine.

The one-sided propaganda in the article is amazing. There is zero attempt at honest neutral reporting. The fact that it is being attempted at that level tells you how stupid they think their readers and viewers really are.
