    'Can testify to #1. I cut timber and ran skidders in Arizona, Montana, and Virginia. Montana was scary, cutting 6' diameter Douglass Fir and other trees on a 45-55 degree incline. If the tree didnt get you watch out for the Grizzly Bear.

    But they left out door gunner on a Huey.

    I've worked 7 out of the 10 over the years.
    Guess I beat the odds of the work industry.....now I get to wait till either the cancer kills me, or my spine breaks and I get paralyzed and I kill myself.
    It's a wonderful world Jimmy Stewart....fucking wonderful.

    I'm laughing my ass off at #17 - Supervisors of Mechanics via violence and other injuries by persons or animals! Sounds like most supervision should stop acting like they know more than the tradesperson with a hammer in his hand!

    I'm #5 and it really sucks. People won't get over, trying to repair a truck or piece of equipment on the shoulder or lane drop is pretty sketchy. We have one machine that killed a girl when she ran into the back of it. It also claimed another driver that hit it head on going the wrong direction on the interstate in a lane drop.

    Logging is the most dangerous job for one reason, it’s done by high school dropouts, not your best and brightest, and before you all freak out , I’m from logging country many of my good friends are loggers, I’ve seen tweakers running chokers, and driving trucks………

    Survived 1 , 10 and 19 .
    And +1 for working for the Clintons . I can't effin believe that they still manage to get people to work for them . Needs to be a whole new suicide category . Death by Clintons .

    all of which do more for mainstreet than the few professions (that never even make the list) who shreak and cry over how dangerous their jobs are

    Not a drug guy, however I’m 100% ok with people doing whatever as long as they don’t hurt anyone, want to roof and blow your money on drugs, ain’t how I’d play it, but it’s the fruits of your labors, your body, your call

    Lots more honor in that than living off the tax payers tit, while using violence against the same taxpayers at the behest of politicians

    I woke up alive again today too.

    It’s gonna quit that so i almost cried with joy at another day despite all the pain and the strange seizure bullshit.

    People need to learn to appreciate the gift of another pain free day where the guys digging your grave aren’t visibly near. I’m not quite at the point where I can hear the shovels being worked but…

    Glad you are still around. Keep going man.

    Any "Most dangerous job" list says as much if not more about the particular industry's safety practices and standards, as well as the management's concern for employee welfare, as it does about the danger of the job itself.

    It's not a notable list to be on, instead it means you're expendable and management gives next to zero fucks about your life.

    Any time your working with mother nature you are going to have to deal with random curveballs. There is no way to manage weather and if your not willing to work in hazardous weather you will go broke sitting on your couch.

    But then you add sleep deprivation, heavy equipment and deadly consequences for mistakes.

    Kinda put a stamp on the point. There were 100’s of cops in and around the capital that day, hell two with m-4’s standing directly behind Ashli when that moron shot her in the neck.

    One 1 decided to pull the trigger.

    If all cops were” evil” jan 6 would have been a blood bath.

    If all the cops were evil people probably wouldn’t have been as peaceful, and some cops probably would have taken their licks

    Also post covid, I can’t find a single video of a single cop arresting another cop for shutting down a business or for screwing with main street Americans over “covid violations”

    This shit has been going down hill since the early 90s with police acting like wannabe gangsters, just over the last 10 years it’s in a free fall, if I saw a cop getting beat on the side of the road, can’t say I’d help as I don’t know who the one causing the trouble was…back as a kid I’d have said the cop is the good guy and is trying to keep people safe, those days are long past

    Why wasn’t Jan 6 a blood bath? If all cops are evil? They had the firepower to mow every single protester down. One shot one pummeled to death.

    Where I live... none of that covid shit happened. In fact police presence all but disappeared.

    Just curious, can you find me ONE video of a cop arresting another cop for violating someone’s rights during covid?
