Wife pulled out her recipe box a few days ago. Cooking for 21 this year.

My wife is a great cook. She can make anything from beef wellington to deviled eggs. However for our Christmas Eve blow out party for friends and family, we have found a little Italian restaurant that we have been going to for more than 10 years. We talked them into catering this party. They don't cater but we asked them and they agreed to do it. We're going on our 5th year and imagine a little old Italian grandmother doing your cooking for you. All we have to do is pick up the food and enjoy the rest of the night. Easy-Peasy.

We normally go home to central NC to my sister’s for Thanksgiving but my wife took an “I’m bored” job in compliance at a local bank. They’re open on Black Friday so we’re having our first White Colonialism on our own.

We’re having friends over and plan to cook an unconventional meal of some sort.…maybe steaks and fish.

Big mistake, wife and I did that one year, ended up with a de-constructed thanksgiving dinner……I can’t even describe it, look it up….

Wife retired from the restaurant business. Started at 18 in the kitchen. Attended schools worked up to Sous Chef, executive chef and general manager. Never cooked much at home until she retired.

I've tried to talk her into the catering thing or just going out, but even before retirement, she never would.

We go to my mother in law's house for Thanksgiving and we have had prime rib for the last few years. I can't complain. Dried out turkey or prime rib, which would you rather have???

He’s gotta be dead by now

I hate seeing lions raised in captivity; esp. in private homes. That being said, usually lions will typically bond to a human caregiver if they are introduced and have a regular, close relationship before the age of 1. Hand-reared cubs especially will bond to and accept a human, recognizing it for years to come. However, that acceptance is only for that individual; when other humans come into the picture later they are not accepted and likely to be mauled. This is a subadult male, likely around age 2- 2.5. I'm sure he was adopted as a cub by the guy he is sitting with.

You got that right! Not only that, but cougars should not be allowed to drive expensive sports cars or hang out in singles bars.
