Some theorize that much of mythology can be traced to the sons of God "knowing" the daughters of men.

Perhaps you are right. I have come to view this whole transhumanism thing as a way to destroy more people and eradicate God from the world. Good luck with that. Scripture plainly shows in Revelation that there will be those who do not take the mark. If transhumanism/neural link/WEF brain science was going to be a real thing then Scripture wouldn't say that in last days there would be those who didn't take the mark and will be hunted down to be killed. Will transhumanism come to pass in some form, probably. But it doesn't appear that it will be as complete as whomever implements it wishes for it to be. But that's just my opinion and some of it will be wrong once everything comes to pass.

I do think there will be a lot of Black Mirror type stuff going on, linking humans to AI. I have a theory also that somehow the Beast and antichrist will be linked through a neural net and AI. Its not my theory, I've done a bit of deep study into the semantics in what was penned on Patmos, and how our world looked to John.
Even as we watch the curtain slowly rolled back, its not easy to be sure of what shapes will be familiar to us when all is revealed.
While not technically “cannon” as in not in KJV bible (not here to debate that but KJV is least molested version of the book) there is lots of truth in this. Go read it for a glimpse of the real world we live in.

Yup. I have read it more than once. Funny thing about that book: while it is not regarded as canonical it is referenced in the book of Jude which is. In my earlier youthful years I used that as a justification that the book of Enoch had almost the same authority as Scripture. I no longer believe that, but that is not to say that it doesn't have value, same for Maccabees. The speculation by some is that Enoch was a familiar text to the readers of Jude's letter, and that's the reason he quoted it, not that it is an Inspired book. But it is FOR SURE interesting. This is the book I was referring to earlier when I said "apocryphal".
One thing I haven't done is cross-reference Enoch with Jewish writings. That would be a VERY interesting study. Only so much time in the day.
The proof for me that Lucifer/Satan does control great power on this earth is illustrated in the temptation of Jesus. Lucifer showed Jesus all the kingdoms of the world and offered them to Jesus if Jesus would worship him. This would not have been any temptation at all if Lucifer did not have the power to fulfill the offer.
Yup. I have wondered how many leaders have been offered just ONE kingdom and took the deal. It seems at this point the appropriate number is Legion. I used that word intentionally.
