That should teach them to buck the system.

They came up with their own "just doing my job" catch phrase that gives them the self righteous immunity. "Just following protocols" of the hospital, CDC, NIH or whatever. They claim to being ignorant because China flu was not something that they ever seen before. So they were just following protocols by the experts.

saw the protocol thing starting in the 90s with electrolyte protocol, vent weaning protocal and others. keeps young docs from having to learn management of crit care issues and puts the responsibility on the nurses. keeps older docs from having to think. now protocols have invaded office/private practice. now all the primaries do is type on comp and prescribe whatever the protocol says (AKA what big pharma wants to sell).

the increase in vaccine hesitancy is very easy to understand. at my age i've had many as an adult and a child. now i would be very reluctant to ever take another one for anything knowing how slipping something into it has been shown to be possible. makes it tough on parents of little kids who are faced with real need for immunization vs not trusting the med establishment. they have been lying about a lot of things for decades, which is now more and more coming to light.

as a now retired and but long working RN,i shudder to think of having to make a refusal decision regarding the whole lying covid issues to be faced. same decision that stalin's shooters and hitler's exterminating helpers should have faced.

Agree mostly, except the older docs hate the protocols because it takes the "art" out of medicine and makes it cookbook so that anyone can do it. It also negates personal experience and handicaps a doctor from thinking outside the box. If you dont follow the protocol you are penalized.

johnnycat, you are largely correct. i should guess a number. would say maybe 30 so % of older docs go along with the process. they (older ones) did invent and initiate the process. most of the various surgeons i dealt with did indeed hate the whole idea. and yes, experience is totally neglected by the protocol idiocy.

The article also said that all funds from DFAS are being held until the CR is signed.

For anyone else, like a military retiree or receiving disability, you might want to plan accordingly.

Thank you for your service.
