My friend's dad's pos 70's Caprice Classic station wagon. It had a 400 ci with 4 bbl carb, no muffler, blown shocks. We stole it one day and he got it up to 120 in the rain on a little back road north of the SLC airport. Smooth as glass. Found all the potholes on the way back at 35 mph, the speed limit! We accidently learned about hydroplaning that day. My friend was 15, I was 14. How we survived our childhood is still a mystery to me.
