Oldest boy of a guy I work with just pulled that stunt. His mother wasn’t thrilled.

That interstate, Loveland, and Berthoud passes were on my coverage as a fireman up there years ago.
Saw many of those unfortunately.
This is just below where I-70 EB comes out of the Eisenhower Tunnel, maybe a mile max, but I think less.

Brings back memories. Mom had a 69 Mach 1 my uncle crashed and totaled. Then she got a 69 GT.
My uncle that crashed the Mach 1 bought a used 67 Shelby GT 500. He then sold it as it was way too much car and a horrible car during the gas crunch
Don't tell the guys in South Louisianna there is a season for them or they will be extinct.
