I have a few MDT 308 AI mags, 10rd. Messed up my count and was surprised to find that they take 12rds without any special effort. Anybody notice this?

Is there any real reason not to stuff 12 rds in them if I want to? I realize spring fatigue is something, but how likely am I to accelerate that enough to notice it? Thoughts, concerns?

Pretty impressive since actuall mdt 12 rders don't even hold more than 10 put of box. First stage couldn't even feed a round after taking them out of wrapper and cramming 11 in there.
It seemed like they would feed fine but I was on my way to the range anyway so I wanted to test it before I reported back. Sure enough, 10rd mag with 12 rounds and zero issues feeding. Felt no different than pushing the first round off a mag loaded with 10.

I've had the opposite experience. My mdt 12 rounder holds 12 perfect albeit that 12th round can be stubborn. I've got aics 10 rounders that I fucking hate because the last round is near impossible to load. They've been sitting loaded for almost a year now. Hoping to stretch them out. As I bought mdt and magpul mags that work without issue.
