Big Beaver road is actually exit 69 on I75 in the Detroit metro area.
I road tripped from IA to Hilton Head Island, SC many many moons ago and we passed Big Bone Lick state park somewhere in OH. My girlfriend at the time and I got a good chuckle out of that
Evidently smarter too. Notice that there is no "off" label on those switches, just "on". I would wager there are more than a few in the world today that would be thrown into confusion because of that.
I never quite grew out of that phase. Thankfully, I have a very tolerant wife.

The stereo equipment in the SubBase barracks at Pearl was awesome. Among other things it was the first and only place I ever saw a Nakamichi Dragon, and in 1984 that was the schnizzle. Because we didn’t have a dispersing office on the boat single enlisted guys could get 6 mo advance pay just before we left on WestPac. That did result in some large one time purchases.
