Apparently, NY''s ERPO law was just declared "unconstitutional" by a NY Trial judge. Surely the State will appeal, but it does seem a step in the right direction!

There should be career ending ramifications for sponsoring and voting for unconstituional legislation. There currently is no reason not to piss in the eye of consrvative Americans because they get their way until a long legal process shoots them down and then rinse and repeat.
THey should declare NY State unconstitutional and divide it into smaller conservative states.
Funny you mention that. If you look at this map from a few years back, it shows all the counties in NY State and their level of "Carry permit" friendliness.
So it's only really the "red" counties that were totally restrictive. This, obviously, was before Andrew Cuomo and his anti-gun agenda. Most of the State is green. The red "Genese" county is near the city of "Attica" where the Prison is located. The red counties in the middle near Tioga county are probably where the village of "Ithaca" is located (Cornell Univ. and Ithaca college among others). And, obviously, NYC, Long Island and Staten Island are all red. Duchess county is interesting If you get a chance, visit the village of Amenia, NY. Very Pro-2A up there. I also find interesting that Ulster County is Yellow, not red. Ulster is the home of "Village of Woodstock" (the real, Woodstock).
