Unsettling.

Wow, that is exactly why red flag laws are illegal and unconstitutional. Some morons can say some things and render you defenseless in hours. What say if some sick individual red flagged a person to grab and extreme advantage over someone they planned to murder? What if a person took something you said way out of context, and used it to hurt you? Figure of speech, "I could kill them." We all know this is used every single day without murderous intentions.

Seems like the excuse of "WENT TO THE WRONG HOUSE" is a double edged sword.
Cops go to the wrong house and kill the homeowner but when a black person shows up and gets wounded the knife cuts in only one direction.
How is it feeling to live in a Third World Country ?

Went "to the wrong house" or went "into the wrong house."

Usually it seems like when they are demanding swift action, it is so they can railroad someone before all the evidence comes out.

I was sitting on the couch with my wife at our old house once, and some probably 16-18 year old comes walking in. I don't even remember what was said. I just remember him standing there staring at us, and waiting for him to leave. It seemed like a long time, but it probably wasnt 15 seconds. I hopped up to help his body and brain perform the appropriate actions, but without an need for a manual override of controls, he found his faculties and escorted himself out before I made it across the living room. Some drunk high school kid had a story to tell when he found the party next door. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Guy I know, got shit faced drunk one night. He was missing the next morning, and his wife was looking for him. His car, shirt, pants, shoes and socks were in the front yard but she couldn’t find him. He had wondered into the neighbors house and passed out in their living room in his underwear.

Experienced the beginnings of the same thing (minus the getting shot… 😉) in my quiet little neighborhood a few weeks back. Around 8:30 PM, I’m in my home office, right off the front door still grinding away. Bam… Bam… Bam… ( and I don’t mean a polite knock, knock, knock…). Thinking WTF, get up from my desk to see what the eff is going on; before I can get to the door, again Bam… Bam… Bam…

Open the door: Me “can I…” Deputy Enos interrupts: “Bob Smith?” Me: “No” Deputy Enos: “We need to speak with Bob Smith.” Me: ”There’s no one here by that name. What address are you looking for?” Deputy Enosette: “1234 Quiet Lane; we need to see Bob Smith right now”. Me, well this is 6789 Quiet Lane, the address in marked in 7” high numbers on the post at the end of the driveway, right off the road.”

Now, here’s the best part: Deputy Enos, with considerable indignance: “I know, but it says its right here (holds out cell phone)”. Me: “I’m sorry that address is about a half-mile to the east”. Deputy Enos speechless, Deputy Enosette stomps off indignantly. Doh!

At least they didn’t shoot my dogs… or me...
A sign of the times..... Along with all of the other "incidents" posted.
You should consider moving to the ghetto.
They have to be courteous there.

Running out of storage capacity was a very real potential problem. You can't just turn hydro carbon production on and off like a light switch, and shutting down that production very real problem. It takes a lot of time money and effort to produce on a well.

It is not double speak. Had the Covid slow down continued, it would have been a real problem. More companies would have lost their asses. More US Citzens would have lost jobs, Our production would have had to ceased. All you guys yelling drill drill drill... Well you gotta have some where to put it

That is not what " they told me".

Think of it like this- You have a septic tank that normally stores and process enough shit for a house of 4( normal US consumption). Suddenly you have an issue and you septic tank can now only process enough shit for 2 people( during slow down consumption) and is nearly full. Do you call your neighbor and buy their shit cheap topping off your tank...allowing them to keep shitting... giving you no were to shit. making you full of shit?

Its a simple concept in a complicated industry.

There is a reason it was cheap... The problem was global... and you don't know enough about the industry to recognize a Trojan horse. Neither does trump, he's a real estate guy not from an oil family.
Maybe there shouldn’t have been a COVID shutdown.

I still don’t get the push to eliminate gas, diesel, bunker fuel.

If you remove a barrel of oil and distill it what do you do with the distilled portions of different products that are no longer going to be used?

They don't want to fully eliminate it, at least those in charge. They are just grandstanding to get the attention of the tree hugger/save the planet types. So they can maintain control, need those votes. They know god dam good and well the planet runs on hydrocarbons and have no problem selling to to other countries. Biden is balls deep in the oil and gas industry. Remember the protest at Standing Rock and Dakota Access Pipeline, and the media coverage... when trump was in office. Biden just green lit an 800 mile pipeline in Alaska, to sell LNG to Asia.

Example of Bidens pro energy stance that the left media won't cover, they are protecting them

WASHINGTON, April 13 (Reuters) - The Biden administration on Thursday approved exports of liquefied natural gas from the Alaska LNG project that one day could help the United States compete with Russia to ship natural gas from the Arctic to Asia.

The Department of Energy approved Alaska Gasline Development Corp's (AGDC) exports of LNG from the project to countries with which the United States does not have a free trade agreement.

Backers of the roughly $39 billion project hope it will be operational by 2030 if it gets investments and all required permits. The LNG would be exported mainly to countries in Asia.

Alaska LNG includes a liquefaction facility on the Kenai Peninsula in southern Alaska and a proposed 807-mile (1,300-km) pipeline to move gas stranded in northern Alaska across the state.

The project, for which exports were first approved by the administration of Donald Trump, has been opposed by environmental groups. The Biden administration undertook an environmental review of Alaska LNG, concluding it has economic and international security benefits and that opponents had failed to show the exports were not in the "public interest."

Another example- the Destruction of Nord Stream... They are all about control, not elimination. Definitely a double standard in the media to control the narrative depending on who is in office.

Driving nails in the coffin of America. The one thing we don't need is more Chinese junk.

Ford Motor will import its next-generation Lincoln Nautilus from China to the U.S., the company said Monday night.
The midsize crossover is currently produced for the U.S. at Ford’s Oakville Assembly Plant in Ontario, Canada. The automaker recently announced it would be investing 1.8 billion Canadian dollars (about $1.3 billion) to transition the facility into a new electric vehicle hub.
This marks the first time Lincoln will import a vehicle to the U.S. from China.
