Now Garberville is a ghost town, All the greenrush assholes have left as there's no $$ in dope growing anymore, Pretty much the same for Shelter Cove. All the shops and stores in Garberville have folded up except for the grocery store etc. So now we are left with the 70 and up year old hippies that came here in the 60s-70s that fucked it up to start with. Forgot to mention the dope growers that didn't leave have turned to meth, fentanyl, and stealing for a living. Keeps things spicy with a couple shootings/ killing every few days.

Wow, sad to hear that. every thing was pretty much thriving when we were there. I worked at the little airport there and my girlfriend (now wife of 33 years) was a bookkeeper for the Benbow Inn. Allways sort of wanted to go back and see it all again, maybe not so much now.
