Guys do the kayak thing here out of Shelter Cove, found out the hard way not to let your fish stringer hang in the water. We grow BIG Great White's!
Fuck. That. Shit.

I love the idea of kayaking off the pnw coast, it looks absolutely amazing. But, I also know what kinds of monsters are living and are difficult to see under the water. And again, the idea of kayaking here looks incredible

I remember paying 2100 bucks for a 21" Sony VGA computer monitor. 1024x768 - it was the top of the line in early 90's. Damn thing weighed 50lbs.

Ok to fly off on another of my tangents.

Get yourself one of these super cheapies.

There are "real" versions, but I bought a cheapo chinese Amazon and so far it has worked great. This gizmo falls into the "where have you been all my life" area of tools.

If you work on shit you will come across a stuck bolt, you get to each one of these steps and I personally have done all of them.

Issue with the "blue wrench" is well fire, and that can be a bit of an issue in some places.

When I got the induction heater I was like this thing can't work, so I heated up just a loose bolt, WOW, smokin in no time. Ok lets see if this works for real. Rusted wheel nut on an 8n that likely has not been off in 80 years, sure enough right off.

One word of warning however, it is just like the blue wrench, so don't use it to take off rusted spring shackle bolts, that rubber shit will smoke like a mother fucker.....for fucking days if you are stupid like me.

You go from, Well duh you idiot, it gets hot naturally it will melt the rubber bushing, but it is not that bad.

I think I need to move to another state to get away from this smoke.
to
You know I can't do this, I will come back next weekend with the fuckin grinder and cut the stupid nut off like I should have done in the first place.

Anyone remember Chris Rock's "Cheap Pete" character from In Living Color? Well, here's the origin of that character. :ROFLMAO:

Only Chris Rock could piss off someone like Issac Hayes! :ROFLMAO:

I am rewatching Miami Vice and Chris Rock appears in season 4. He looks so young and goofy 😜

This CEO will really test him. What will he do when she (on behalf of TPTB) lays down the line, which she clearly will because they are demanding censorship per their narratives. He talks about the consequence of money meaning nothing to him in that interview - but what about when they threaten the lives of his kids in a meaningful way? That seems to be the only thing he cares about.

2006 $6495 for a 50" plasma
In 2001, I worked for a high-end TV/sound store.

There were 2 plasmas, a Panasonic and a Pioneer Elite. Both were 42", and both were $15k. o_O

1st plasma I bought was a 50" Samsung on a Wally World Black Friday sale. Don't recall what year, 2010-2012ish. $500, and we still have it in a spare bedroom.

When I was in Third Grade at Edwards AFB, Boraxo brought their 20 mule team out to the school. It was amazing. We had a huge sand/dirt area between the three school facilities, so they were able to maneuver around, and make turns. It was amazing to see how smar tht elead animal was, and how the mules would jump the traces on a turn, then jump back. It was actually 19 mules and one horse(you can see the cowboy astride, near the wagon). The rolling barrel of water was for the stock, the rider and teamster had a separate water supply in barrels.

I forget the name of the club, but a group of people have gotten together and reconstructed the wagons and team. If I remember correctly, it’s just one wheel one big wheel on the wagon weighed 1600 pounds.

Haven't bought a new set in over five years so don't know the status of Sony today.
Sony has always given me the best value per dollar.
We have a 42” Sharp Aquas we bought when LCD flat screens were still $$$. Still have it and it’s in our bedroom.

Bought another Sharp and it’s in the LR, has been flawless.
